Over a period of time, I have tried various Basmati Rice of different brands. One of which is Daawat of which I'll talk about today.
Daawat Super Basmati Rice is white rice which costs around 100 to 110 Rs Kg. Rice taste is good but it does not give you a long grain rice or above average fragrance after it gets cooked as compared to Indiagate Basmati Rice which I found best of all brands.
It consumes more water but then also size of rice is not good enough and doesn't gife much starch if we talk about super basmati as it claims to be. You need to wash it atleast 3 to 4 timesto get rid of that white rice residue.
Lets come to packaging of product if you buy 5 Kg. Packaging is good and sturdy. It is a single hand held packet of 5 kg rice.Packaging is nice and clean.
Tip: Soak it aleast for an hour to get long grain rice after cooking it.
