I was using this product for the last two years.
In the first year everything was fine
But after some time I started facing some problems.
One of those major problem is the hanging of set top box software .
In starting time the software hangs once or twice a month . The technician used to come and upgrade the software. But then it started hanging very frequently.they replaced the set top box but the problem continues with the new one also.
Later they told me that this problem was very common in that model of set top box and I need to upgrade it.
They told that the price of another model is about 5 k.
Then I decided to go for some other d2h service provider and I switched to Dish tv d2h.
Which cost me about 1 k .
I was already annoyed with the Videocon support but they always used to call me and try to lure me.
They also kept asking me why are you not recharging your Videocon d2h etc.
FINALLY!
One they there custumer care called me and asked why are you not recharging your account.!
I answered - Sir i'm not recharging because I'm using DIsh tv which is also a very good product and its set top box has never hanged like yours!
He was amazed on hearing this!
He said- but sir our service is best.
Me-. Maybe it is best but not according to me. and I boasted alot about my new set top box.
After that they have never disturbed me.
