Conceps of Physics by HC Verma is a well- known Physics book especially in engineering aspirants community.No doubt book is very good & useful to clear physics concepts.Here I will share my personal experience of studying this book & tell its pros & cons.
Pros-
Concepts of physics are explained very good
Best from entrance exams as excercise questions are given of same level as asked in entrance
It is a prominent book for physics
Its a masterpiece book in physics I found no book as good as this book.Also it is self sufficient for any entrance exams
It comes in two parts.Both parts are to be solved for full preparation for exam either engineering or medical entrance exam.
Concept explained are very good & in practical form.
And the book is also in very precise form means important concepts are explained thoroughly & then good number of questions for practice are given.
Subjective type questions, MCQs both type of questions are provided
No need to refer other book as its a self- sufficient
Very practical approach of physics concepts is explained & questions are also based on practical life
Examples are explained before excersices are also helpful
So if someone needs to clear physics concept & need to understand practical approach then this is a best book
Accuracy of book is very good & also this is a famous book so you will find its solution easily
Cons-
Excercises full solution are not provided so one have to refer other solution book for the same
Initially, anyone will find book is a bit tough to solve so have to buy solution for the book first to understand
Overall book is helpful & must from entrances exams point of view.
So I will suggest this book to every engineering or medical aspirants & best of luck for their future.
Hence from my side I wanna give 4/5 stars to this book.
