What does the OPD mean here?
A single cashier runs the entire show, right from issues OPD tokens for ALL THE OPD Stations AND All The Diagnostic TESTS.
Plus accepting payment for drugs, doctor's charges, tests and probably parking and toll taxes in 4km radius.
So further ahead in this document, Cashier will be referred as GOD.
My point to ponder, Was the process designer high on Manali stuff, Or they took his joke seriously?
Lets dig in more with a usual OPD flow:
Get your appointment on call.
Reach there before time, and then get redirected to GOD.
Get a meagre token from the GOD after waiting a life long time.
Doctor usually takes half hr per head. So lets assume if you have 4 people ahead of you, it will take you 2 hrs after you have been through GOD's waiting.
Usual GOD forbid, in case the doctor asks for some tests, now go through the cycle of below: i) Wait for GOD and get the token for test. ii) Go for test.
NOW THINK whats next! iii) repeat from step 2. HA HA HA
CAUTION: Even if you are dying, you have the follow the rules says the manager. If you ask for explanations, you will be thrown out and probably if you were pregnant, you would be asked to deliver right there waiting for GOD.
May almighty-GOD have some pity on local-GOD/Hospital/Patient decide for your self.
