Worst Experience Ever!!. Review on Coffee House, Bara Bazar, Kolkata

Many says that it's India's first coffee house. It is two-storied building .Even Manna Dey's Hit song "coffee hous, er sei adda ta aaj ar nei." was recorded relating to this coffee house. But nothing is in a good condition there .If I sit to write all of them it would take hours . Firstly the infrastructure is too old and the place is quite untidy that you would probably end up with smashing a peanut butter if you're new to that place and going to sit at your chair without noticing. It was my college days and me and my friends decided to have some refreshments after our evening interval. As I was new to that place, I could not make myself comfortable there as one can see the lack of cleanliness on the tables, floors. Even when we ordered our cold coffee along with sandwitches and plates for fish fries there can be seen flies all around. The food was served cold but slightly nice in tase. Smell of the room is even worse than the toilets. Even road side motels can present for you a better food than these cold shrimps. People even smoke there and do not care to bother someone sitting beside that I had a serious quarrel with a man there who was smoking continuously at the table beside me. Staffs and others there are also habited to this . Their service is too poor and do not clean the tables and chairs after someone leaves as there were half eaten stuffs, used napkins, open water left on the table. So unhygienic that you would feel suffocated on the thought of going there again. And the price is too high for this damn old unsophisticated mess. People should rather die than going there.
