Chittaranjan Mistanna Bhandar of Shyambazar at Kolkata city is very renowned for Bengali sweet dishes not only because of its taste but also because of its quality, varieties and flavours.
I tried few sweets here but which I liked most was rasgulla, sandesh and sweet curd.
They also keep some snacks like samosa, kachori, radha-vallabhi, etc which also tastes good. The tastes of sweet will simply surprise you with its aroma and softness. The taste can only be experienced and cannot be explained. It is simply superb.
Another such kind of taste I had with mango flavoured sweet which also looks tempting in its yellow colour with transparent look. It tastes juicy with vanilla cream over it. There are more than hundred varieties of sweet in the shop.
They also take bulk orders for major events like party, occasion, ceremony etc and have special sweet catering services also. All generations like and appreciate this sweet concept. People are waiting and having this sweet by standing in queue especially on festival season. As it is not a restaurant type so there is not much table to seat but the staff service is very fast due to which you do not have to wait for long hours unless you have bulk orders. Even my husband also loves the sweet of Chittaranjan Mistanna Bhandar.
