I I had purchased Carp 20Ton 3Star Ac two years ago.
At first, for one year it worked satisfactory.The only problem then was that it made sudden loud noises if run of 7-8hours continuously.
But after a year its cooling efficiency started decreasing drastically. And it often have hot air instead of cold air. So, I called for service. But they came after 4days and said it's gas needs To be filled and compressor had to be changed.
Altogether he said, it would cost me 2500, in the warranty period. Being shocked, I refused and called the an electrician, myself. He worked onit and said no gas has to be filled and no compressor has to be changed. Just its vibrator has to be worked and it cost me 700.
After amonth, same loud noise and vibration along with hot air continued. So, I had to buy another ac.
