I wanted to try Carnation Service quality and gave my car for service today to their Outer Ring Road Bangalore service centre. My recommendation: Don't try them. They just overcharge you by at least twice the cost of actual service. Bottom line - Its a fraud.
Details:
I gave my car for a full service at 11 am. My car was perfectly fine and it was just a routine service. The guy did not give me an estimate. He fooled me saying that he would do a complete check of my car later and then would call me back with the estimate. I was impressed and left the place.
He called me at around 3.00 pm. and gave me a whole list of parts to be replaced claiming they all need to be replaced and gave me a stunning estimation which was at least double the price of what Maruti authorised service centres charge. I was surprised and soon realized that I am taken for a ride. I told him not to change or do anything and just return my car with a wash.
They returned my car with a Proforma Invoice for Rs.750 for labor and Service Charges, saying that it was their regular service charge.
A total fraud. Rs. 750/- for a car wash which otherwise costed me Rs. 100/-
I am going to scan their proforma invoice copy( they are afraid of sending a regular invoice!) and send it to Mr. Jagadish Khattar.
Beware of their fraudulent and unethical business practice and avoid their service totally, if posssible.
