Very good entry level lens. Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens

This lens is the perfect prime lens for the beginners. The bokeh if this lens is awesome. The autofocus is quite fast when compared to its price. If you have this lens in your bag you can throw your kit lens 18-55mm. This lens has fixed focal length so you dont have to worry about the adjustment of the focal length. Since its least f stop value is 1.8 so this has a very wide aperture making too much light to come in. So even if the light is not optimum for shooting you just need to adjust the f value, shutter speed and iso( image sentivity optimization) . It can be used for indoor photography as well as outdoor photography. Its is the best portrait lens in its range. This lens has a very much popularity among amateur photographer as this lens is the cheapest and best prime lens available for entry level dslrs. Most commonly its used for shooting at wedding. However its not suitable for the macro photos has this lens has fixed focal length so you cannot go too close to the subject. Overall verdict is if you are fed up with your kit lens than throw it and grab this one and you will never regret your choice. This lens also very suitable for street photography. I think you must have this lens.
