Big Basket is providing just an OK service. Since other online groceries are poor in service and stocks BB is somewhat better.
Main flaws are-
1) Diffident selling- In case of rains or holiday or festival for no rhyme or reason BB starts showing cold feet. They start throwing disclaimers on quality of service though mostly it is not affected in any way.
2) Poor range of items- Though their stocks are better than the other online grocers considering their nationwide network they should have wider and deeper range of goods in each category.
3) No stock replenishment- No timely stock replenishment. Often after you select the item at the time of checkout they inform you that certain items from your list are out of stock, That is irritating. Moreover they should have mechanism for not displaying out of stock items online.
4) Wrong descriptions often- I bought Dabur Honey 250 gm bottle. It was indicated in the description on BB - 30% extra but it was only 20% extra also printed on the label on the bottle.
5) Wrong packing- today I received only 2 nos. disposable shaving razors as against ordered and billed 4 nos. of shaving razors.
