INTRODUCTION
While in Delhi, Gurgaon Big Bazaar was my favoriate shopping destination and I used to avail all the New Good Economic Offers and Sales up for Grab whenever you land there. But some times we found ourselves Cheated due to inferior Products.
When I came here in Orissa I found our Original Marketing System is the best, Cheap and more Hygenic. Yes I am calling A/C cooled Shopping Malls very Unhygenic and making fool out of us. I visited FORUM MALL in Bhubneshwar and went for window shopping for three weekends and found the price Tags Very Heavy. All Branded showrooms in this Economic Meltdown waiting for customers. I started enquiring about discounts. "No discount" was the answer in most of the Show Rooms.
On my last visit to Bigbazaar I founf there were some discount calls on Public Address System, audible in Three floor Bigbazaar and I started liking these people in BigBazaar. That I went to have fun in Food Court and Relished Veg Birayani and Rasmalai, for Rs 25 and Rs 15 respectively. It was just like a fish market sceneario with every floor staff using Megaphones to lure customer for heavy Discount. After a go around in all the sections. I was tempted to touch and try a jean for me available on 70% Discount. Tried, Tested and one pair of Jeans and XXL shirt for Rs.700/- and during payment I was Intemated very politely that if I make my purchase to rounded figure of Rs 1000/- I will get further discount of Rs 250/- in the form of Coupons redeemable on next purchase of Rs. 1000/-.
Not a bad Bait. I again went back to kids arena and picked up very pretty salwar kameez and dupatta for my seven years old darling daughter. Came back to the counter and hence started my relation with BIG BAZAAR, BHUBNESWAR. Now I have 250 rupees gift coupon in my pocket to be redeemed with next Thousand rupee purchase.
