Big Bazaar is a complete joke in the name of discount stores. Recently they launched a campaign called "Exchange old items for anything". They give huge full page ads and show that they are doling out huge discounts in the form of discount coupons by exchanging all old items.
However, ground reality is completely different. Only some 25 items are available for purchase with the coupons they give. Out of those also most items are purposely kept out of stock during the offer period. So end of the day all you get is some boxes of cornflakes and biscuits.
Also suddenly they impose conditions that you have to use the coupons within a week's time. This is not mentioned anywhere in the ads. Obviously if you have coupons worth 300 you are expected to spend Rs. 1200 within a span of 1 week else you forfeit all the value of the coupons. Mr.Biyani is definitely running a fraud chain here and taking people for a ride
