Value for Money:

My son is a student of this college since last two years. He is doing his engineering and is not at all satisfied with various things in this college. The college is very easily accessible, just 10 minutes walking distance from Kharghar(Harbour Line) railway station. The college provide hostel facility with ample space capable of accommodating many students. The rooms are uncomfortable with no air conditioners. The hostel mesh provides healthy food but sometimes one has to compromise on taste. Most of the college students get fed up of the mesh food and prefer going to other places outside the college as the college canteen is not clean though spacious and provides tasty food.

First and foremost, is the staff. The staff is cooperative but inefficient. Except for a few teachers, mostly prefer speaking in native languages. They all hold good degrees but does not put in efforts to teach properly. Most of the syllabus are left uncovered even for the semester examination. Therefore, students are forced to join extra classes for scoring well in their examinations. Studies are not good at all. The administration staff is good. The fee structure is normal.

The college does have a sports ground but it is not maintained at all throughout the year except for the annual college fest(Abhiyan). The college has just one division(around 60 seats) for Computer, IT, Chemical, Instrumentation departments. It has two divisions(approx 120 seats) for Mechanical, Electronics and Telecommunication departments.

There are many extracurricular programs that are conducted by the college and are also very well organised. The placements are also not good. Very few companies come forwards to get their placements done from this college.
