The services provided by so-called brands have undoubtedly become a successful farce these days. They showcase a lot in the typical form of promotional advertisements by hiring brand ambassadors and rewarding them with crores of rupees by luring public to purchase or avail their brands for various services.
But I am sorry to say it is not even a fraction of overall customer service being promised by Berger.
Home paint finally got completed after marathon time period of 3 months. We stay at a one BHK apartment in Noida(2 rooms and 2 balconies+ Kitchen+ Balcony) and you might be surprised over the length of time taken to complete it.The delay has been due to incompetency from the labourer's end.
The delay has been due to labourers not coming on a particular day and then inefficiency in terms of overall work. Rescheduling was caused from our end as well as we planned for an outstation trip and also due to the souring temperature. My mom and sister were not well leading to further delay. The contractor was also responsible as he had gone to his village for 20 days.
The contractor is a nice guy and is very much professional by properly covering various things at our house. But at the same time not able to efficiently manage his labourers.
We showed genuine hospitality to the labourers by providing them with refreshing drinks and also some snacks from time to time so that they are able to work energetically. But every labourer displayed distinct attitude and literally had to keep an eagle eye by constantly monitoring them. They were very good on 1st day and then they displayed their original color on the corresponding days. They had no mannerisms and showed sarcasms while communicating us. One of the labourers did not wash his hands properly and as a result we found stains on the walls as well.
Berger has not provided a good ladder and ideally it should have been a steel one rather than a ladder made of wood which the labourers found quite risky. Luckily we had a steel ladder for them to use. Also, they did not cover the floor with sheets so that spillage could be avoided on the floor. They took a lot of time in cleaning the floor as result of spillage evoking sympathetic response from us.
After breaking our head over the work done by them, house looks better now more so because of good Berger products.
At least Berger is not asking for money at one go otherwise we would have been running after them for showing unprofessional-ism.
I am quite disappointed with Berger's performance and in fact should impart training to these labourers as we found no difference between a branded home painter and a local painter.
I would rate Berger 2/10 for their overall customer service and from my end I am not going to refer anybody for their unprofessional-ism.
