The most affordable color phone in year 2004. Review on Benq M 555C

The following is about BENQ phone but this review is no more useful as no body would want to buy it. Friends, I have one great suggestion for you. When ever you wanted to buy a product just do some research in net before buying.

I bought this cell when there is no color phone even in the range of 10k. And I bought it for 5300/-

I have been using this cell since it was introduced in the market. I think during the beginning of the year 2004.

I'll just give you Pros and cons directly just for information purposebut I strongly suggest you not to buy this now. You have better phonesin the market.

Pros:- Sleek, Small, attractive and cool phone with great features in that year 2004.

1.It still has unmatches features like blacklisting numbers right at the mobile level without contacting service provider. You just have to set a particular phone number to a blacklisted group.

2.This phone has a feature to copy memory from SIM to phone or Phone to SIM without tedious job of updating ur new sim manually.

3.Ring tones are very melodious. Once you upgrade your software from so called service centers then they give few ring tones which have more sound. Videocon service centre near Indiranagar double road offers service. Please see Benq website for more details. They do have these details.

Cons:-

IMP(new): I had asked for spare parts(Front Panel and key pad) for my phone at Onida(BENQ) service center at Indiranagar. They told me it will cost around 550 for these two parts and they told to fix it, it will cost Rs.330. My mind blew off. I really doubt whether my 2 year old phone will get 1000 bucks if I sell it and they asked me to pay 1000 for spares??? And there is no way to buy only spares , they will have to charge 330 if they have to give us spare parts. It's damn sick!

Friends, dont buy BENQ. You will have to pay Rs.330/- for service centre if they touch ur phone. My Goodness! Now what I have decided is to throw this phone after it stops working. :) No more benq!!

1.No ring tone options for messages.

2.Some picture message formats are not compatible with this model. You can't see messages sent by Nokia cells.

3.This cell doesn't vibrate if a message comes.

4.It gets struck when u access internal messages which u store as a backup.

5.Sometimes, when u try to update a number, something happens and some numbers get deleted.

6.Customer Service is bad. The other day when I went for service they told if they touch the phone, they will charge 300/-

7.Head phones they give is waste.

8.Charge drains fast.

But I stil love it and use it until it dies. I suggest you to take a the best phone in the market Nokia but take a succesful phone dont buy a stupid model. Its been 2 years still not out. I'm not mad to buy cell phones with cam etc features which costs more than 5k. The more you invest, the more the depreciation and viceversa.
