INTERVIEW- INTER -- VIEW.... a view to know the person? This word is heard day in and day out everywhere and well going for one is the ultimate. It is not only the individual who ultimately pre prepares himself for the same, but an entire lot of people who advise on the do and donts of this INTER VIEW, specially if it is the first ever for a teenager. A whole lot of preparation from the family itself becomes a major part of the preparation for this event, as to the background of the company, the place , people working in the company or any smallest information that could be made available to the candidate that has to be groomed for the interview.
INTER VIEWS are in simple words information about self , made available to the unknown(the company), the basics for any interview remain the same. Self -presentation, confidence and knowledge about the chosen field of work and how competant one is, years of experience etc. The best way to get through any INTER VIEW is to have a Positive Attitude, and even if you dont get through one, may be there is a better one awaiting you. There are few mandatory questions always asked during the interview, like family background, years of experience, reason for change in job, major achievements, strengths and drawbacks, your decision making powers etc
Some companys have entrance test like IQ testing etc to know certain pshycological limitation and thought processes. One must also make the job responsiblities and the kind of work your employer expects from you, so at a later date there are no regrets and doubts about any work assigned to you. This becomes necesssary specially for Ladies who have to work in shifts or late duty hours. In an interview at times suddenly a very personal question is put forth and one must be ready for an answer, this shows your attentiveness and alertness about self, eg one of my friends who had come from Kerala and settled here(mumbai) after marriage, and while on an interview here was suddenly asked in the midst of an interview as to the number of bangles on her hand?? she was perplexed beyond words, she afcourse didnt get through but always wondered about the question.
I guess it was how much aware we are about ourselves or we merely do things because we are supposed to do them?? A thought to ponder........ So just wear your attitude and be confident of what you WANT.
Cause ultimately its an INTER VIEW.
