Bobby trying to do a Sunny!. Review on Bardaasht

Had no choice but to see yet another Hindi movie at bloated prices at the nearest multiplex. And what a weird movie it was. Bardhasht would, or should I say might have been a hit if it was released 10 years ago with Sunny Deol in lead. As what Bobby does in this movie is what Sunny used to do few years back. The only difference is less shouting, less gore. Rest is same.

What really surprises me is what Lara Dutta is doing in such typical bollywoodish movies? She can do much better. She is not your typical Bollywood babe and really looks weird in the dances that are loaded with zillions of extras. Ritesh Deshmukh is fine in a short role. The surprise package certainly is Tara Sharma who displays some emotions for a change. Rahul Dev is a really fine actor and leaves his mark. Would have been a good movie 4-5 years back.
