When he was made captain of Indian hockey team against Germany, I was not sure whether he can soke the pressure being captain or will flop like Ramendeep Singh (hockey captain for Sydney games). I did go to see India - Germany match, though he marshaled his resources well but he failed as a player and lost too many balls and moved slow in field. India lost first match. May be it was his first match. But in the second match he played well and India won. I am sure India will win 3rd match and series .He is maturing as a captain. He is the right choice. With he as a captain and Cedric as a coach, and pilley in the team (I am sure he will be back soon ), India will go all the way to top.
Only thorn Mr. KPS Gill exists, once Gill goes we will go all the way to Top.
