Bajirao Mastani, is based on a real story of Peshwa Bajirao, who was one of the top ministers of Chhatrapati Shivaji. Peshwa other than being a skilled warrior was also known to have accepted Mastani as his wife, who comes from a different religion. Despite ignoring all the superstitions, practices back then. Both Bajirao and Mastani came forward and got married.
Ranveer Singh has given his career best performance and Deepika as Mastani and Priyanka as Kashibai has played their roles amazingly well too. Great direction by SLB with the complete usage of amazing sets and super music. This movie released simultaneously with Dilwale, starring SRK and beat its domestic collections, and won numerous national and filmfare awards what else can we say:)
