Never purchase a vehicle in hurry:

I bought a bajaj XCD 2 years back and have drove about 12000 km. I was in a hurry and I bought this bike without thinking much as I was quite satisfied with my previous bike(Bajaj Discover 125). I had so much trust in Bajaj autos that I didn't even compare it with any other bike of its category.

Cons:

This bike has lots of problems, the mileage is not good at all. Even after being so light in weight and having an engine with such a low bhp, the bike's average is even less than that of discover. The maximum mileage I got was 65km/litre on highways(although the company flaunts about its 90km/litre mileage).

When it comes to pickup, it dissatisfies me a lot. The acceleration I used to get with discover, showed no sign with XCD.

And not only pickup, when it crosses the speed of 70km/h it starts making so much of noice, which is never expected from a 125 cc bike.

The head light is not affective at all, one can't see even up to 5meters at night.

Seat is not comfortable, not a good bike for long rides.

Pros:

The thing I like about this bike the most is good handling, I can wave it around like a bicycle which is very much useful in traffic.

Flexible indicators, save money when we are rushing the bike and the indicators bend comfortably instead of breaking off after a strike.

It is also good for doing stunts, It is easy to balance on a light weight vehicle like this.

The ability to turn fast is also a merit when you are in hurry.

I have been on a lot of trips with this bike and it never betrayed me on the way, whether its hills or road in the worst conditions nothing stopped me except when my Tyre got punctured which can happen with any bike.

I have also attached a video with this review.
