I have bought this bike exactly 3 years back on the same date. Till now I have not repented about buying this buy. Till date it gives me 58-59 kms/ltr(if you drive at a avg speed of 55kms which is ok speed in bangalore seeing the traffic condition). I used to give it for service every 2500kms and chnaged the oil and maintained it very well. I have gone long drives of almost 300-400kms at a stretch in one day and I have clocked almost 43000kms on the speed-o-meter, so I think what I am writing makes some sense for those who want to go for this bike.

Simple mantra is don't give too much of acceleration and don't apply brakes and clutch where it is not needed. Slow down the bike when you know there is a hump almost 50-100mts away. Don't change the gears roughly. Handle the bike nicely and it will give you good returns. MAIN THING IS WHEN YOU ARE FILLING THE PETROL FILL IT IN THE EARLY MORNING OR AT LATE NIGHT. The reson being, from morning after the sun comes out until the sun goes down the density of pertol will be less because of heat. so when they fill petrol even this will be considered and u will get less petrol.during cool timings like late evenings or early morning the density will be higher and u will get more petrol for your money.

Never-the-less people who want to buy good sturdy, reliable and trouble free bike then go for this one.Handle with care and it will handle you with care

Thanks
