I had purchased Bajaj Chetak in 1998 and I use it till date. My daily travel is around 15-20 Kms in Mumbai. There were no major problems. Body partially rusted. So far I had replaced, head light, horn, stand, clutch cable and welded rusted frame.
It's average is about 18 to 20 Kms. I intend to buy, but not sure whether to dispose off my Chetak. Three times I slipped on cement road, but no major harm. Please let me whether any scooter with steel body is available in the market?
