We went for Badrinath ki dulhania this weekend, with me there was few north indians as well as few south indians(who knows hindi) but the south people didn't understood why we were laughing most of the time because of the UP/Bihar excent used in this movie.
What a super comedy it became because of UP excent which was actually excent from east UP or Bihar but in movie they are trying to show that this excent is from west UP or Rajasthan. We really liked it with fullest of fun. Varun and Alia speaks literally like a UP/ Bihari person.
Story line was not much strong but the funny scenes make it light and attracted till the end, Varun's friend or the side hero was also done his part very nicely. This movie was not only for entertainment but also gave very strong message of women emporment and the dowry issue in our country, the parents of actor and actress shows this pain and arrogance honestly.
Shooting locations were very good, Kota, Jhansi and Singapore locations are used to be very common one and not the interior, any one been these places will easily recognize all the locations. I would suggest everyone to go for thsi good movie and laugh with friends and relative, it is mostly a family movie. Have a good time.
