Credit card companies, by default come with hidden fees and interest charges.
But, axis bank takes this to a new level by doing fraud with customers accounts.
They purposely activated direct debit from my axis savings account, and debited the entire amount I owe on credit card. And since I didn't have full amount to cover for the outstanding due, they imposed many charges 1.) declined debit charge - 7000 2.) GST tax on the charge of 7000
And they impose many interest charges. On each interest charge they impose GST on that charge.
On top of this FRAUD, they have one of the most notorious customer service who doesn't know English. They start out speaking pure hindi, even convert all the amounts to hindi. The attitude these reps have is worst. They don't know the basics of conversation and interrupt before you finish speaking.
I decided to cancel my salary savings account. And I also decided to close this FRAUD credit card.
