I have been using Axis Bank account for my secondary stuff like online shopping, Online recharges, small fund transfer etc and so satisfied with the service provided by the bank.
I opened my account in this bankin 2012. Their agents come to the institutions and help you to fill required formalities for openning the account. The student account is called'Youth Account' in Axis Bank. The best thing about the Youth Account is that you never will have to visit the branch. Everything can be done online. I have not even visited my home branch a single time yet and I recieved cheque book and otherstuff to my address.
I would totally recommend if you are a student and thinking of opening a bank account but confused for which bank you should go. Their customer care support is good too.
Best thing about axis bank is their mobile app. Best bank app I have ever used.: -)
