Do not open an account with Angel One. Review on Angel One

I had closed my Angel One account one year ago. But recently, I received an unexpected call from a company named Option Expert regarding option trading calls. When I asked them how they got my number, they directly mentioned Angel One.

I found this very concerning because if Angel One claims customer data is safe and confidential, how did another company know my details and even take Angel Ones name? When I called Angel One support, they denied sharing any number. But the fact that another company confidently mentioned Angel One raises serious doubts about data privacy.

This clearly shows that our data is not safe with Angel One. If phone numbers can be shared, theres a possibility that even sensitive data like P&L statements or trading history might also be misused.

My suggestion: Do not open an account with Angel One. Your personal and financial information may not be secure.
