Android studio is the best IDE I ever got. and as it's by google so it's absolutely free and you will get compatible for your device as they check automatically your device.It was very slow when I started using in 2 GB RAM my average configuration Desktop. But it runs perfectly in 4 GB RAM but takes time to setup I think it's normal because of it installs lots of libraries.
But before installing it you need to install java first. emulator is also pretty good in look. but do not run big and complex programs it's slow specially don't go for animation.overall it's a good development Software when you have i3 processor & grater than 4GB RAM.But usually you don't have any option Since google declared android studio as official development software we need high configuration PC.
