I visited the Anamudi peak in 2018 May. It is beautiful place. The meaning Anamudi is Elephnt head and this is very good place for trekking. The height of Anamudi peak is about 8000 feet. Weather is mild cool and plesant. The location of this peak is near the munnar which comes under western ghat. The hiils slope is not steep. It’s slope is mild and that attracts the vistors for trekking. For trekking you have to take the permission of eravikulam National Park authorities. It is mandatory.
