Can we have another dish please...??

It appears that the Indian media -> TOI , HT, IE, Zee , ATN,... all have lost their head over the so called Big B..!!

We have him for breakfast, lunch, dinner and tea time now.!!

Our country's major issues take a back seat.!

We must know if Mr. B is chatting with his family, combing his hair, purchasing new slippers or partying with his group..!

Even our PM is underplayed by the media. Mr. Manmohan Singh modestly stays away from news, while Mr. B makes hay..!

Perhaps our newsmakers find Mr.B's bleached mane more attractive than our PM's know all smile..!!

For the want of better headlines, we have Mr. B all over the canvas... Who cares if the IT authorities gave him a hard time , his KBC shoot is delayed or his dates for future films have been cancelled..! The media make it look like the common man is starved of the Mr. B news..!

There are millions who are faced with critical issues in their day to day lives, there are million others whose next meal is a big suspense, for lack of civic sense, our country resembles a recycle bin, which is an alarming issue, unemployed youths are queueing up seeking opportunities, crime rates have gone up......... yet we have nothing but Mr. B served on the newspapers..!!

Was Mr. B able to use his popularity in serving the country through politics..!! While he gets a chartered plane at his beck and call, thanks to his reliable Reliance association, and a heavy shoulder in the form of Amar Singh to lean on, there are thousands who wait on the railway platforms, due to train cancellations.

It is time the editors made sure that insignificant topics fall under the subtitle .... ENTERTAINMENT..!!!
