Well we just happened to watch this movie as we had to kill some time and well this movie had nothing what was promised in the reviews !!

About the movie

**********************************************************

This movie seems like a poor attempt to make a humorous dig at the hollywood actors and their private lives.

The cast is pretty good with Julia Roberts,Catherine Zeta Jones, John Cussack, Hank Zakaria and Billy Crystal. I must say that I was impressed with the cast and I thought the goods they would deliver would be worth watching...

Directed by Joe Roth and Billy Crystal and Peter Tolan's was in charge of building what could be sketched as a screenplay.

What was supposed to be the plot

**********************************************************

This movie has a very very weak plot which has loopholes right from the start.

It all boils down to...put together a pair of stars (Catherine and John Cussack) and who are very popular on screen but going through a bitter seperation in real life. The agent ( Billy Crystal) is the agent who is responsible for bringing them together for their latest movie's premier. He enlists the help of the actress' sister ( Julia Roberts) who falls in love with her sister's husband and the story drags on and on !!!

As far as the comedy is concerned It would be the tickle-me-and-I-will-laugh stuff. GROAN !!!

My Impressions

**********************************************************

The cast added all the glamour they could. Catherine looked good. Julia sports a different look. John Cussack tried to look cute and Billy tried to sound funny by mumbling some dialogs but all said and done the movie was a big disappointment.

The only face saver was Hank Azaria (Hector) who was playing Catherine’s Spanish lover. He was hilarious with his accents and attitude.

The movie was supposed to be a comedy and we were all left looking for situations which could genuinely make us laugh.

Would I recommend this movie to you

**********************************************************

No No No No way !! Stay away from the theatre, stay away from the video.. If you are impressed by the cast .. you will be better off watching “Pretty Woman”, “City Slicker” , “Mc Kenna’s Gold”.
