I like old fashion . All time I purchased product from market . This was my first online shopping from Amazon . During this puja vacation my one relative refer me in Amazon to shop product .
On the the same day 2nd Oct 2016 I register on Amazon & placed an order for a Bajaj 1.7-Litre 1800-Watt Cordless Kettle . After ordering it show expected delivery date was 14th Oct 2016 . This product was look like very good in the site .That time I was happy as it was my first online shopping . I was very exited . I started to countdown the delivery days .
But I did not know that this is not the joy of my fate . Below the list of fake promises by Amazon Customer Service -
On 13th to 14th Oct I thought maybe things are today, it would Delivery . On the afternoon of 14th Oct my heart grew worse .But I still had the hope that maybe in the night Delivery . But, No No No . it was not delivered on 14th Oct 2016 .
The next day I made contact with them about the delivery . Then they told me to wait two or three more days . But, again it was sad for . Because still not delivered & they extended the delivery date upto 22nd Oct 2016 .
On 22nd Oct, again they extended the date upto 26th Oct 2016 .
At last, on 26th Oct morning I received a SMS that was showing my order out for delivery . After few hours it was successfully delivered by courier . So, Amazon took total 24 days to deliver my product .
There was bringing slice smile on my face when I was going to figure out the product from courier boy . But, after delivery, the smile back to my face went away . Because of packaging of the product was bad . One face of the cuboid shaped packet was fully damaged . Package was not too hardy to protect my product from damage in transit . My product was seen from the outside . However, there is no damage to the end of my thing. This is only good news .
The first sorrow was that I lost my joy of first online shopping as they was too late .
My second problem was that, on these days which were expected delivery date I was sitting in the house from leaving all of my work. As a result, a lot of my time has been wasted. This was not fare .
Tracking process in Amazon site is not good . From long long days they show same result . But, in courier site site tracking details was updated as per moving the product . On Amazon site in tracking details showing as Chennai hub then it is out for delivery . But my delivery location is in Kolkata . That means, there have no update when product came in Kolkata . So, that time I was unable to check exact tracing of my product . So, I request to Amazon please improve your tracking process .
When I browse a product on Amazon site, I don't able to find full product details . Design of site is not very good . This site is something slow to load fully . It takes some more times when I open it's home page .
Here I faced another problem, that is during register of my account I saw a mail that is if I order a product with minimum 300/- then within 30 days I will received 100/- in my account . Already more than 30 days over, still today I don't receive 100/- . For this problem I make contact with them for 2 times, they launch a complaint . Then they replied me that - ' Hello, I am sorry to inform you are not eligible . It's likely that one or more of the following conditions weren't met .' Then they have written some rules . As per my knowledge, I have maintain all the rules . But, both times said I am not eligible . One thing I have noticed that, that don't mention exact which rule did not followed by me . Now, I am sure that Amazon is not customer friendly .
Overall, I conclude that Amazon is not a good online shopping site . Sometime they make false promises . Their system is not good . There is no plan to buy more stuff from here at a later time .
