I am an Airtel prepaid user for the last 5 years. In the past I faced problems regarding faulty deduction of money from my account whenever I used GPRS on my phone. Then I went for vodafone and activated GPRS on my vodafone mobile, but still retained my airtel prepaid number. To my surprise, even after transferring my sim to a cell since last September, which does not have GPRS settings, im still being charged by airtel for using airtel live every now and then. Ive written to the nodal officer, registered my complaint with the Consumer Helpline but no results only waste of time. After failing all the channels I ve resorted to Mouthshut.com. So let's see if something positive happens or even here its all the same. I really hate the messages sent by Airtel "Thanks for using Airtel Live" A sum of Rs. __ is charged". Is there anybody who can help me out of this.
