I woul like to share my experince with airtel. I am using airtel broadband and landline connection. I am staying in Gurgaon and recently made many calls to ghaziabad landline no for longer duration thinking that pulse is of 3 minutes duration.(NCR region is local)
But when I received the bill, I was charged STD rate at 30s pulse. When I talked to their customer care that though my STD is locked as per your user manual, and also NCR region is local(all mobiles are local), than why I am charged STD? Their answer was that it is as per their policy.
I told them, than with STD locked, calls should not have been made to Ghaziabad, for which THEY HAVE NO ANSWER.
I request everyone to beware of Airtel's policy. Similar expereice has also been experienced by my friends in Punjab, Delhi earlier for mobiles.
Can Anybody from Airtel respond to it?
