Two States as a book is all about love, romance, finding your soulmate that transcends caste, creed, , class and religion. Krsih and Ananya are examples of two sensible individuals who are able to convince their families that love can conquer all- South India meets North India - Tamil Nadu ka Sambar mixes with Punjabi made Alu Paranthas.
The story is realistic and fast paced. Conversational and emotionally binding at the same time.
It is an entertaining read and focuses on its character sketches very descriptively. It is the story taken from the pages of Chetan Bhagat's life history and that is what makes it interesting and captivating at the same time. Though there is a lot of family melodrama typical of traditional Indian households, Chetan Bhagat doesn't overtly dramatise the incidents just to make the book more spicy and readable. And in this fact lies the sole strength of the book.
