There is an acute shortage of parking space at LIDO mall on FRI, SAT & SUN. If you’re planning to watch a movie at Fame cinemas then please plan to reach the mall at least one hour prior to the show. Because you’ll have to join a queue of vehicles(nearly 1 km long) waiting to gain entry in the mall.
Take your small car. If you don’t have a small car avoid the place on weekends as there are very few parking slots in which a big car can fit in comfortably.
The ticket window area is not air conditioned. Because of the rush on weekends it becomes very stuffy. Despite the weekend rush there are only two windows operational out of which one is dedicated to tele-booking. So be prepared to stand in the queue for a long time.
Most of the common areas stink! On one particular occasion someone puked in the lift. I informed the mall management and was ensuredimmediate action. But when we got into the lift about 30 min later the condition had got even worse, stink was unbearable after the doors closed. Mall management seems to be least botherered about the upkeep of the place.
