So called Low Miles Done showing on the odometer is of no value. In fact some times single user cars driven sparingly by a Senior Citizen or Some ladies may have suffered more engine damage due to improper handling than a Chauffer driven car driven over long distances but by an experienced hand. Insist on complete service history of the car and don't touch it if it has been serviced at a unauthorised workshop or the service record is not regular or fully maintained. Also try to go for a vehicle not more than two years old and then you can take a extended warranty. I had bought a 1999 Cielo in good condition from an authorised dealer when the vehicle was still within it's second year and thus I could get an extended corporate warranty for another two years. The extended warranty has been very useful, because now I am able to maintain my car as good as new without worrying about cost of parts.
