Toyota must have already known that they are going to produce real quality automobile, therefore they named it ''QUALity It iS''.
Although many would not rate this piece a great looking vehicle, but you have already seen many of them quietly breezing past you in city & highways.
Great engine, good metal body, good seating space, nice upholstry, good air-conditioning (except in the boot area), excellent steering control, good powerful headlights are some of the instant highlights of this.
Take it on Pune express highway, and tell me when did you realize that you touched 110kmph. Thanks it takes diesel. After spending a fortune on buying this one, one does not have to spend much on fuel. I suppose it would average at 8km/lit in city.
Definitely a family & a weekend vehicle, as you can actually accomodate all at your home with their baggage.
It could also be a choice as a second vehicle, after a small car. This is because, if you take Qualis to a market or a shopping area, you would spend a lot of time finding a parking place.
If you parked at a wrong place, keep Rs.500 handy to pay the traffic cops as ''No Parking'' fine. Not to mention the damage they do to your front fender.
White & Silver grey colours are my favourites. The anniversary model with ''Toyota'' logo all over the body also looked great.
Equally good for young, middle aged & even senior members, great comfort and a really a smooth rider.
