I bought Alfa in an exhibition of household items and I was offered 10% discount on list price.
I was looking for a good water purifier but also had limited budget, and this piece just fit in. I think I had paid about Rs.3000/- for this few years ago. I still do get discount coupons from them, which I give it my friends and relatives.
This purifier was easy to install (it was installed by the company's engineer in no time). It has UV light and ceramic candle filled with activated carbon. Thus the water flowing through gets UV treatment, and activated carbon removes unwanted odour and impurities.
The filter needs cleaning (of the ceramic candle) once in a month, and anyone can do it on his/her own. No need to call any engineer etc. Once in 6 months, we get it serviced for overall cleaning, replacing carbon granules and checking UV light functioning.
It has LED indicators as well as beeper to indicate the flow of clean & purified water.
Overall a good product which fits your budget, recently been improved with more features for better performance.
