Story:

As I like reading murder mysteries I found that books written by Agatha are the one which interest me a lot because of its simple language and interesting plot.

Agatha Christie was considered as The Queen of Crime. She has written 79 novels and short stories. Her play The Mousetrap is now the longest continuosly running play in theoritical history.Christie's first novel was The Mysterious Affairs at Styles in 1920 and the last was Sleeping Murder in 1976.Murder on the Orient Express,Witness for the prosecution,And Then There Were None and Death On the Nile are some of her works which were made into feature films. The famous detective Hercule Poirot was created by her in her first novel The Mysterious Affairs at styles-a retired Belgian police officer who was hardly more than 5'4 but carried himself with dignity. His head was exactly the shape of an egg and he always perched it a little on one side.He was very particular and proud of his moustache which were stiff and military. The neatness of his attire was almost incredible. He believed that a speck of dust would have caused him more harm than a bullet wound.

The novel is about the kidnapping of the Lindbergh baby and even after paying the ransom the baby is murdered. And how the people who loved the baby ie the governess, the maid etc take their revenge by murdering the kidnapper.Hercule Poirot is travelling on the famed Orient Express from Cairo to Calais,in the company of other 14 passengers. One of them an American believes his life to be in peril begs for the detectives assistance but to no avail as he is found dead-stabbed a dozen times the next morning. The train is stuck in deep snow which makes it unlikely that the murderer must have escaped.Red herrings are put in the path of hercule poirot to try and keep him off the scent but he succeeds in coming up with not one but two solution to the crime.

Have read many of her novels like The Murder on the Orient Express,A.B.C Murders,At Bertram's Hotel,Body in the Library,Carribean Mystery,Death on the Nile,Clocks,Crooked House,Curtain,Elephants Can Remember etc. The list quite long cant name all of them
