Why we should watch Kahani Ghar Ghar ki. Review on Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki

Kahani Ghar Ghar ki was once a top rated serial made under the banner of Balaji Telefilms by Ekta and Shobha kapoor starting with letter K which they consider lucky.

I am not going to write about the story of Kahani as everyone knows it and can be seen by the reviews written but would like to write about why we watch(specially women)and why we should watch this serial.

I started watching it as somehow I relate to it in the sense I always wanted and believed in joint family system but alas my wish is not fulfilled as no brother and am not married.It is mostly popular among the women as somehow I feel they too relate to it as at the bottom of their heart they also believe that joint family system has far more advantage over nuclear family.But because of fashion of having nuclear family,of being independent or because of money whatever is the reason they opted for it.And I think they relate themselves to Parvati (who is shown as a good bahu who tries to keep the family together )which they are not and want to be like her or to Pallavi (who is shown evil and cunning who breaks up the family )as they have been a victim of one like her or they themselves are like her.

After watching this serial which conveys the message that it is only the family that stand by you in our hour of need.Friends are there but they too have their family it is only family members who are there day and night with us whatever is the problem or whoever difficult is the situation.

Have read many articles on this serial from which I learnt and I also synpathise with the men when they say they dont get to watch the tv during 9-11 etc but the only solution is that it moved in a different time slot.They should realise that after watching this serial if their wives or mother decide to be like parvati it will be only for their benefit.As the expense will be less,children can be looked after properly and not left in a servants care,as the work is divided thier wife wont be so tired and can look after their needs and keep him more happy.

This is what I feel and I think Ekta doing a good job for our nation.There are always two side of a coin it depends on how u look at it.
