Great acting by all the lead stars. Highly underrated. M not sure if the story is realistic. But must watch for sure.Underrated movie, must watch. The lead actors specially verappan deserve a big applause though directing can be improved.

I recentlly saw this flim .Veer is among the worst movies in History of Indian film industry. The story of this film really had no story to begin with.It was just mishmash of warrior films from 70s and 80s. The music of this film is below average. The cinematography is good. The story of the film is nothing great. The promos made me excited.But unfortunately the movie turns to be a plunder. Performance wise-Salman Khan is excellent, amazing, dynamic as Veer.On the whole

Film administration should be more vigilant and ban any of this anti-native ( against the real religion of Indian people) stuff. Veer is sheer disappointment.

The fact that Ram Gopal Verma had also made the highly acclaimed Kannada film Killing Veerappan, only raised expectations from this movie. But those quickly drowned when the film released. The film mainly focuses on the last few years of The film mainly focuses on the last few years of Veerappan and how he was killed and from the Police Officer's angle. There is not much about Veerappan and all those rumors(true or otherwise but mentioned in the media)about him. But the film has a good narration and does not lose pace. It keeps the viewer engaged. Some direction glitches could have been avoided. For instance the presence of'Lisa Ray' during interrogation of aides of Veerappan. Cellphone was rare in late 90's and till early 2000s but cell phone is shown being used commonly. Overall a'time pass' movie. Hope the director cud have used more lights in the movie but it seems the director and his aides are engaged in'Bijli Bachao' movement. and how he was killed and from

Veerapn omg when I watched this movie I was not able to believe that it is a real story. Though he was a criminal I found respect for him. The cast is awsome.

The police inspector is charge , now I'm his great fan . He is full of charm and his way of thinking and power of accepting challenges was just superb. It would be a tough task to shoot this movie in jungles. Nice cinematography. The background music made movie more interesring and a little curious .

The movie is related to the worst killer named veerappan who use to kill elephant and sell there tooth not at all he also killed many forest officer and army soldier while to catch him but he use to hide out in the forest this took 20 yrs to find and kill veerappan this was biggest killer in the indian history this was held in tamil nadu and karnataka and kerala state in india. this movie indicate the story of him who ruled entire state by alone and made statement that he is the killer king and the news was spread to the nation. he gave message to the government and took veerappan serious to take a special attention to him he also kidnap many soldier and killed brutally he was a human disaster. this movie made see that such a human was present in indian state people should know about him that mercy less killer. in this movie acting was done good acting by him and total scenario was outstanding done. this movie must be watch by other for sure.

I think its a good idea to make movie on veerappan because he was one of the most dangerous serial killer and a lot more than that. but speaking about the movie this man has played an awesome role as veerappan and I became his fan after watching his movie.

people who are keen and curious to watch a movie based on a criminal should definitely watch this movie.they will love it.

Two days ago I've watched verappan, First thing that everyone watching thinks that who is the lead of the movie.

because there are different stories are running on screen and all these are connected to a single name'VEERAPPAN'.

Next the movie is not a dramatic film which give you a satisfaction of some unreal explanations like the main line bollywood movies. it is true story based film.

The film continously tells the horror of the villan Veerappan. it shows the forming of veerappan from his child hood when he was a boy working for forest officers.

then journey of the veerappan shows that how fame make a man good or bad. veerappan only want to spread his terror for only fame that makes him proud himself.

secondly a police officer who have a aim that to kill the veerappan any how.

the character of police officer shows lots of aggression. having a young and dynamic personality, who having a mindset towards the killing the veerapan.

a officers widow wife who has nothing to loose looking for the revenge of her husbands murderer.

also veerappan's wife laxmi having a significantly strong role. always lived in a fear because of veerappan's life.

and many other characters playing good supportive role.

all that about the movie is how the veerappan get encountered.

and the directer sucessed to show the entire operation carried to encounter the veerappan.

it just a fine movie no one can expect high entertainment from it. it just tells the truth but with some cenematic touches. recommend to watch once.

Very nice movie!, the movie plot and cinematography are excellent. RGV has done a good work in creating the character of Veerappan, this one seems convincingly horrifying.

The way the story has been compressed in two hours is also commendable and some of the situations are been shot with right focus on details. Even the some of the characters were convincingly better. The movie is a well compared piece of cinema.

After long time ramgopal varma presented veerappan movie was fine for me. It is based on real and true story one man he becomes person to dacoit.

Starting of movie with the killing one police office or end with veerappan death by the police man . Some romance of verrappan was there because of masala is required for the movie.

The casting was good as always ramgopal varma do. At last movie was fine for me not very good its average movie.

Veerapan! If we see it as only a movie then the story is Fabulous, but the other hand if we see it as a Documentory movie then I must say Writer making some mistake, because The REAL STORY WAS DIFFERENT.

Here I say 2 important thing about Veerapan, Actually Veerapan killed his Master who Trained him at Childhood and A police Constble Regin his Job and Secreatly he Join Veerapan Gang as his Driver. He Work for Veerapan For About 5-6years to Make Veerapan Belive him, and then he became the personal Driver of Veerapan.

The Total planning to Encounter Veerapan when he is on the way to Hospital is Of that Police Constble. But The Movie is Very good, All charactors are Very Instresting and The Music allso Good.

Since everything about Veerappan made headlines in his lifetime, the story has no surprises. Also the docu-feature style narrative doesn't have too many edge-of-the seat thrills. But if you are keen and curious, to see the life and times of one of the most dreaded criminals, who twirled his moustache and brandished his gun with equal finesse, Varma provides you that vicarious pleasure.

The first half, has its moments. Watching Veerappan stride across the screen, killing men and animals mindlessly does get you to hold your breath. Of course, the blood, gut-spilling and his crude methods of smashing his victim's faces with a boulder make your skin crawl. Warning: if you are faint-hearted, you may only open your eyes to soak in the lush-greens and the milky waterfalls of Karnataka that have been captured breathtakingly. Or, you may find yourself smiling, when you catch the romantic banter between the dacoit and his dharam-patni, Muthulakshmi ( Usha Jadhav) .

The second half needed bite. It should have been more gripping. The plan made by the Special Task Force ( STF) to wipe off Veerappan needed drama. Here, it is left to one officer ( Sachiin) to tell you about 'Operation Cocoon' that was made to lure the dacoit out of his lair. Also the screen-proceedings fell into place too conveneintly. Wish the director, who gave us unforgettable mafia material like Satya, Company and Sarkar, had packed in some extra punches.

In all fairness, Sandeep brings Veerappan alive and the National Award winner Usha as Muthulakshmi is convincing. Though not in top form, RGV does redeem himself to some degree. And his film does allow you to get up, close and personal with the notorious criminal who made a monkey of the Tamil Nadu and Karnataka Governments, because he knew the loopholes in the system.

Personally I dont like this movi but I read about veerappan in internet so I can give this review of movi . This movie works better than some of his recent other movies.

The only problem with this movie is the fact that most of the audience is already aware with the overall story of Veerappan, thus it seems very predictable. As it is directed by Ram gopal verma who is one of my fav directors I went for the movie but was disappointed, actors have done their job very averagely, music is not good, cinematography is decent. Overall not that impressive movie to watch I personally would not like to recommend.

OK this is a boaring movie in probably  this is RGV'S one of the worst movie. You should not waste your money on this movie.

Very slow story , songs is copied , direction is poor , No story line. Only one thing that I actually appreciate is their acting.Overall this is not good choice to watch.

Ram Gopal Varma is a specialization course of Movie Making University.

With #KillingVeerappan he proves it. Its interesting to see, how an already known, (may be or may not be true), story can be woven into a set of scene sketches such that it makes a thrilling screenplay & yet simple & interesting.

There are two aspects one should appreciate in this'masterpiece'(You can't simply title it a'masterpiece' and call it so #ManjuMandavya.):

1) Characterization: None of the characters are extraordinary or heroic. Everyone is simple human beings. Veerappan himself is portrayed as someone who does what he does for his living. He kills to steal weapons and protect himself, as if it's his profession.

His behavior with his lover/wife is as simple any other couple. He fights with her; wants to meet her even if it's risky. He is passionate about guns. His expressions when he receives AK47 weapons show it all. He is proud of his mustache. He is not hulky-bulky. He is lean with acute sense of alertness.

He also wants to make more money, expand his business, and come into good terms with big leaders. I mean, nowhere he is a super human being. Talking of Shivaraj Kumar as STF operative, again a simple character, with a little courage to think about eliminating Veerappan. He is not a six-packed abs guy. A coffee-lover. His'idea' is not a greatest of the ones. He doesn't indulge in dialoguebazi. His strength is being a good analyser.

Both of them emote a body language, you feel like asking, why are these guys not acting.well in a moment you'll realise that's precisely what they are doing.(#RGV, you're the man.!)

2) Production Values: The plot is controversial enough to push the audience to theaters. But, nope.!. #RGV does not compromise on quality of output. The camera experiments itself, at unthinkable angles. The 360-degree capture of chase scene near the farm house is worth the experiment. The steering wheel angles are interesting. It must be mentioned that BGM in the movie makes more talking than characters. Music is very apt.made to order of #RGV. Not compromised on https://lyrics. Especially the'Damma-Dikka' &'Spot' tracks direct the tempo of the movie.

Watch this movie with a mind-set to appreciate the art of movie- making, subtle creativity & researched content, than the inherent controversy around the selected plot. You may not agree with the disguised facts presented, but, remember, it's just a cinema. We may have to see it as a fictional work. Don't be surprised, somewhere, towards the end of the movie, if you fall sympathetic towards the brigand himself. Remember, that is cinema.

Veerappan is good story but the director could not present that way
