If i wanted to pray god for the good of people, i would pray this worst furniture showrrom get losses and close soon. Disastrous quality. We purchased 20, 000 worth sofa set and the foam of sofa will loose its flexibility within 1 year. Most worst part is the unexposed wood they use to build the sof set is packing wood which we use in shipoijg freights. All together wont even cost them 500 rupees!!!!!!!!!

And on few areas of sofa, they dont use any stuff material to keep the body rigid. They just cover that woth cloth. So if the cloth tear, inside full hollow.

There should be minimum range to cheat consumers, but these guys will cheat without limits.

Please never buy. You will get tears.

Nice collection of household items and furniture. I got my sofa and dining table. They also gave suggestion on design and had a wide variety of fabrics to choose from.

Good home delivery as well.

actually after seen the review I went to other showrooms, but comparing to others teak n oak furn it has been playing a tough role only .

they are ready to support if product is getting delayed only thing we have to contact the manager karunakaran or thangam madam for best support.

I placed the request for a 2ft table in November 2019. They made one, showed me a pic that it's come and will be delivered, but sold it off at a higher price to another customer. Have been following up since then and they keep promising next week. Its Jan 2020, but still that table hasn't arrived. Very unprofessional in their approach. They are dependant on outside agencies. The product they show you and the product they deliver is completely of different quality, I bought a sofa from them at a high price expecting the quality will be same but they delivered a very poor quality product, you can call it a duplicate of what they showed me, the sofa got damaged in just one month, the cusions went inside, the pillows they provided are out of shape, and when I asked them to repair it for me, they told now they dont have a production unit so they cant do anything about this. my suggestion is to get in writing from them that they will fix the product if it gets damaged, within one year. Best thing to do is dont buy from them, a low priced product from different seller is of much more better quality than the onces sold by these cheats. NEVER EVER BUY FORM TEAK AND OAK.

We purchased Berlin sofa from this worst shop and that was a real bad decision . Once the sofa was booked they took advance amount and said 1 week delivery but it was delivered in 4 weeks after much of fights and quarrel . But when we received sofa one sofa was having different texture material cloth which we again asked to replace . The sofa was replaced . but after 2 weeks of usage the sofa started dropping powdery material( ref picture) Now I m trying to get refund or launch a case in district consumer forum . My humble request to all customer not to purchase any stock from this shop even the salesman tells lies . they said they will use rubber wood or mango wood but me and my family feels cheated. Please dont fall into trap

I purchased a Maharaja sofa set last month, But while selling they told we will do the polish and deliver. But they delivered without doing anything and they told we will do in your home within 2 days, Now almost morethan 30 days and I am keep on calling the showroom and they are telling the same story "we will come tomorrow". It is really disappointment.

So Guys be more careful while delivery. And they will not do anything after delivery.

I have bought 2 Cot in Teak wood.

While delivery we found that one Cot is damaged.

After 2 months they delivered the same Cot again with some repairs. And still the bed shakes with little push.

Thank God, I have not paid full amount to them and i have no intention to pay it either. I will be returning them the Cot.

Please do not get bluffed with showroom collections. The delivery will be totally different then what they show and promise.

Ordered a Wooden sofa on 20-Aug-2018. They promised delivery in 1 week which is 27-Aug-2018. But till 5-Sep-2018 which is nearly 15 days product is not delivered. Also there is more false promises on the delivery date, whenever we try to call the store they say delivery will be done on same day and the same repeated for nearly 6 days. Very worst experience.

I have purchased Merlin Sofa Set 3+ 1+ 1 on 08 Nov 2016. It got badly damaged and when approached for service & repair, they were asking me to pay 9000/- for replacement of rexin and foam.

I have purchased this sofa set for 28000 and within short span of 18 months again I have to pay 9000 for repairs and maintenance.

when asked for the quality he said it would have more used, I am not sure of whether Sofa is to be used for sitting or just watching. One Mr. Harish of Velachery Branch spoke to me very irresponsibly.

Please dont buy products from Teak n Oak

I hate this furniture showroom and do not recommend this to the buyers.

They are fooling the customers by highlighting there is 2 years warranty and 5 years warranty, when we approached for repairing or replacing our dinning table chairs which was purchased 1 year back and leg got completely broken.the response they gave was pathetic. They do not know how to mAnasultange the customer complaints. FULL BOGUS FURNITURE SHOWROOM.

Manger response was also bad. Why you guys are fooling customer by opening new showroom at Gowrivakkam and selling furniture@ discounted rate. Now we had to bear the cost for repairing the dinning table chairs

I have ordered single cot in gowrivakkam teak and oak. They said it will be delivered with in 10 days. But after 10 days also they are not delivered and nor informed to me. They only agreed to delivered with in 10 days. Even 10 days also they are not delivered means you can understand.

I have ordered a small office table on 14-oct-2017 at velachery teak and oak and I paid the money. Delivery date was 20-oct-2017, but when I check they told the model which I ordered not there, they told will send similar model, I told not to send and give the cash back. They asked me to come and meet on monday. It is completely cheating.please do not buy the product from teak and oak velachery if planned do jot make payment earlier

I'm writing this review on the 31st day of incomplete order, which was committed to deliver in 10 days.

Even after one month from the date of order for a sofa set and a teepa, they are not capable of delivering and completing the order. Will full payment done, the response is full of lame excuses and not focusing to complete the customer order.

The half delivered product is also defect with cracks in the joints of wooden sofa.

If you are planning to buy from this shop don't ever make payment till the order is delivered.

I have purchased sofa two years back for rs.25000 and with sparing use within 2 years period the cusions are worn out and if I ask for exchange they saythey will take it for 1500/_ I am very much upset over the quality of furniture sold by them and their irresponsible way of talking by the salesman.

I made a purchase of DRC250 queen size mattress of Kurlon in this worst Teak and Oak shop, Velachery. When I ordered, the product was not available at the store, and they committed to deliver next day. After they delivered, I noticed a poster on it, saying, 'Dont forget to collect the free gift'. I called the next day and asked about it. First they told there is no such offer. Then, I called Kurlon customer care, and they clearly told there is a bed spread free with it. I again called Teak, they repeated there is no such offer. When reinstated that the customer care confirmed the offer, then they told manager is not available, and asked to contact later again. I had to call 5 times, and the so called fool manager told if you want the offer, pay extra money.! I wonder how with these many cheatings they are happily running the business and making people fool.

We are on our House "Renovation mode". So yes, we have just order new Couch and we r on hunt for a new Dinning Table and A Center Table.  So we visited a many furniture Showrooms like Majestic, Jayabharadham, woodpecker and so on.

And so finally, we today visited the Teak'n' Oak at the Chrompet to survey the Dinning sets and Center table there.  And here are the Pros and Cons of the Showroom.

Pros -

1) The Showroom has wide range of products starting from Sofas to Mattress and every other furniture.  Say there are about over 20 to 30 sofa sets and they have about more than 40 Sofa designs can be ordered.

2) Good Staff.  Well initially wer little Rough, but then they became friendly. Finally even Manager of the Store involved with us and gave us a lots of Ideas. They wer really good in helping us out is getting the best furniture.

3) Pricing is nominal and they r offering discount too.

Cons -

1) The showroom has no AC at all.  And There was no fan too.  And we surveying under Sweat.

2) The showroom is on the first floor and second floor and no lift. But the staircases wer also badly designed.  My mom Could not climb the Steps easily at all.  Really Bad.  Also the Stair Cases wer too dirty, just like Railway station Stair Cases.

3) No parking at all.  We had to park our sedan a few block away and then had to walk to this showroom.

4) the Furniture on the showcase wer all looking too cheap. I dont mean the price but the quality.  Most of them wer damaged or easily damageable too.!

Overall, Thou Teak'n' Oak has a large range of Furniture Product but the Quality is an worst.  Bad Showroom Interiors too.!
