I have never seen this kind of bad service in my life there is no value of any MD and nodal escalation because they are working on their own style no value of customer complaints no value of customers time and satisfaction… what kind of company is this ????? Every company bother about customer complaints and customer satisfaction and TATA PLAY ??????

Such a fake aap and customer care department they dont know to show empathy towards customers also aap detected my money and not ready to give back dont download this aap they are just playing with us first month it will get recharge next month it will show error even though my money detected from my account such a money digging aap please dont download it
I have seen multiple cheatings through TATA PLAY.
1) For a 6-month recharge, I selected one pack but was given an expensive other pack. When I called customer care, they said they would not correct the situation, and that you have to bear it.
2) When I recharge for 6 months, they say I can select some free coupons, but when I select one, I get a message saying that due to a technical problem at TATA PLAY, it is not completed, and again, it is not appearing.
3) There is an option for Pause in TATA play(it is a free option). I did for 50 days but they counted 30 days.
They have stupid customer care service. and it is a big cheating organisation.

Bad service of channel view due to low signal quality and strength…
Technician will visit and it will be increased only for few days and Tata play will charge for visit and provides 30 days free visit so enjoy 29 days and on 30 th day or 31st day or may be after few more days , you will get same issue and then customer care will say that your visit warranty is expired so now again you have to pay the charges..
Welcome to the cheating world of making money with this new scam by Tata play ..
Techniitan are being trained what to say and not and how you can charge to the customer by providing various reason to change the product and still if you face more problems with new set up then they won’t even degrade or provide old set up back and again will take new charges instead of complete services..
Their new set up box tataplay binge plus is pathetic..
More than a year , we are facing the challenges and hoping that now , it will be stabilize but there is no improvement …
They don’t waiver the technician visit which is occurring every alternate month but Tata play enjoying harassment to the customers and making money by not providing service of channels plus more tehxnitian visit charges. Plus product charges …
Nodal is also very rude and not interested in satisfactory services to the customer instead more interested in making money …
Tata play charges heavily and doesn't even respond to chats properly...very poor service

My set top box suddenly started showing digicard error. no channels I can see.
Their tata play app is so third class that you take hours to find what you want
Somehow I managed to log complaint.
Their technician said he is coming in 1 hour . That 1 hour turned in whole day waiting. he did not turn up
Their techcians behave as if they are doing favor on you . we wasted whole sunday. our other plans are screwed up. their call center also did not bother
We asked to close tata play and we now going for airtel

Please don't buy Tata Play. They are charging you for anything they want and say that we the customer has given them the authority.
These people have activated Tata Play Binge of Rs. 199. I don't know whom they called and they are saying that we only said them to activate. We didn't receive any call from their and never told them to activate any services.
I just paid 350 rs of monthly charges they deducted 199 rs from the monthly charges and since 24th September they deactivated my account.
After so many explanations so many escalations they haven't helped me. They are completely lying and not refunding back the money. Completely hoax, fraudulent services.
Very very unhappy and will suggest more and more people to not to buy Tata Play.
I am a customer of tata sky more then 10 years. We use to recharge online through Tata sky portal. This time we got a call from tata sky company and gave offer to recharge for 6 months Mr. Veeresh Kanike 739601xxxx. After payment he is ignoring and disconnecting the call. Being a reported nama company this is very disposing from tata sky
I am a Tata Play consumer for more than ten years.
But their recent behaviour is shocking. .
They have charged me Rs. 199.00 for Netflix subscription which I’ve not used.
I’ve explained this to call centre and requested for refund of Rs. 199.00 but to no avail.
Nowadays, every company uses 2-factor authentication like OTP for financial transactions.
So I feel this is a deliberate strategy to cheat consumers.
This is not at all expected from the house of Tatas.
Paying 60 rs / month for tataplay aradhana to see live lal baughcha raja but they are playing old clip since 2 days continuesly and this is happening every year as i have noticed.
Please don't buy tata play binch plus or an tata play new connection

I'm writing this review as a warning to others: avoid TATA Play at all costs! Their customer support is abysmal, and their customer care service is very very.bad. what they are saying only we accept they don't under stand customer issue.
I upgraded from HD box to Bing box two months ago for better service purpose but after upgrading box, I am facing set up box working issues and they are saying pay the service charges without any customer issue and upgrading purpose they collected 1000/-
I called customer support and pls replace my old box but they are saying no degrade option, kindly pay another 900/- for degrading HD box and they pass the buck to the technician. The technician doesn't know setup box knowledge how to install? and they are asking pls cancel the request after change the new setup box, When I try to escalate the issue, the customer care representative supports the technician's incompetence instead of helping me.
It's clear that TATA Play doesn't value its customers. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to resolve issues is staggering. I've had enough of their subpar service and would strongly advise others against subscribing to TATA Play. Look elsewhere for reliable and customer-centric service.

1/5 - Extremely Disappointing Experience with TATA Play
I'm writing this review as a warning to others: avoid TATA Play at all costs! Their customer support is abysmal, and the behavior of their customer care representatives is appalling.
I call customer support, they pass the buck to the technician. The technician, in turn, is rude and uncooperative. ?? When I try to escalate the issue, the customer care representative supports the technician's incompetence instead of helping me.
Cons: Poor customer support, rude technicians, unhelpful customer care representatives.
On 8th August late evening my Tataplay service went on the blink. After trying the usual hacks of rebooting the box etc I made a complaint about my inability to view anything on Tataplay on 9th August at 0500 hours. I was promised a technician visit in 24 hours. I got a call from the authorized service centre in Hosur confirming the technician visit. They said they will replace my android box. After 60 hours and multiple calls to the customer care number and to the authorized service centre (who now do not pick up my call from the regd. mobile number and I have to call from a different SIM every time), I have only promises of sending a person in half an hour. No one has turned up for a service visit.
Through sources I have learned that the service centre has no stock of android set top boxes!! I paid Rs.40k subscription for 3 connections that I have and I am being harassed.
I will have no option but to file a complaint in the consumer forum and try to recover my money.
I wrote to tata play CEO and his desk replied. Always apologetic with no intention to act and improve. I replied and after that no response. Customer care is pathetic and rude. It made me change service provider after using for more than a decade.

No use. Tata is highly influential. If you want to file consumer court complaints, then the jurisdiction is at Mumbai. Not everyone can go there and even if the jurisdiction is near to your home, then also the advocate will eat more money than what you lost to Tata. So, better to avoid their service and advice your friends and family to avoid all types of service from Tata. I have bad experience twice. One with Tata DOCOMO and second time with Tata Sky/Tata Play
