Well, Welingkar is trying to make business. They have hired many "marketing partners" i.e. middlemen to get candidates for their programs. One of their marketing partner Eins Edu Bangalore, got my profile from job portals, and offered me their distance learning program.
When I made my payment that time I came to know that they are not Welingkar folks, but Eins Edu folks. They kept on insisting that they are "providing services", if they don't understand that is the meaning of franchise. Anyway!
But the point is, once they will get your money, then they will not treat you as their customer, bcoz obviously they've got what they wanted i.e. money. It's over a week now that I have enrolled for the course and not a single email has come from either Eins edu or Welingkar that I have made payment, and my registration is in progress or something of that sort which assures that my admission is in progress.
When I made inquiries in Welingkar Mumbai and Eins Edu Mumbai, Eins Bangalore's admission manager told me that "it's not that if you reach out to Mumbai office then something will happen to me. Nothing will happen to any of us." Another thing, when you call the reception numbers in Welingkar Mumbai, once you tell that you have already made the payment, then they will treat you like you are some sort of a beggar or something. What is unbelievable but true is that, one of their receptionist talked me in an attitude like some multi-millionaire boss or something: "haallooo, don't get paranoid, nothing hanky panky wud happen"!!! I can't believe that a receptionist talks in this way, who earns her (very small) salary by the money we pay!! It seems people who are trying to sell "Management education" themselves don't know anything about running a business, building customer relationship, and generating faith. You can understand what they can teach in their institute. So avoid Welingkar by all means.
