No respect for teachers I heard. Vice Principal and her daughter are the main cause of spoiling the school. They should be removed out of the school. Illiterate Principal. She gives extra money to her favorites. She treats teaching staff as her slaves.

She keeps spy to know everything about teachers.

Academically, the school is very good. Teachers are trained well for their curriculum. Teachers are very responsible and co-operative.

My child loves the school. He talks more about the teachings and his learnings at home. The curriculum is designed with lots of thoughts and care.

Thanks to the teachers and management team.

Really bad school

If there was any rating less than 1 i will give to this school. they have no regards for kids and parents. They are very soft and nice at the beginning and as soon you pay the fees they show the reality. They dont care about any physical or mental wellbeing of child. I am not against discipline, its very important but they have ridiculous rules like- not drinking water and going to loo (only allowed in break time). kids just came back from covid pandemic and I think this is just too much on them. They run on exam spree - 2 exams a month, in doing so they run on mugging up business and they dont care if kid is understanding anything or not.

All the studies and art work is parents job to do and there is no way you can interact with teacher apart from taking appointment post school. they can torture parents and kids over a hair cut. My kid started to show signs of sadness and he didnt know all this himself, it was his first school and he thought school is suppose to be like this, after having bad experience for three months I decided to pull my kid out and Principle had audacity to tell us- they wont refund the fees as we are playing with kids future(who are they to comment on it). All NPS has God complex.

The admission opened in NPS hosur road on 3rd september 2022 and we immediately dropped all the hard copies of documents in school on the same day. We received a message saying that our daughter is selected and we have a parent interaction on 14th september 2022. A warm welcome by the receptionist and teachers to line up the crowd for the interaction. A very professional and dignified Principal spoke to us post which we completed all the formalities. Waiting for classes to start from June 2023.

Worst principal. Worst communication. Poor facilities and no guarantee your child is safe in or out of the school. No commutation, transportation from school. I am telling you all the parents, avoid your child getting admission in this school or any of there branch. Be safe and stay away from NPS(covid-20).

Worst experience of my life.
Mar 18, 2020 12:52 AM34664 Views

I was in NPS Koramangala for 9 years, and the trauma that I have suffered as a result will always remain.

As everyone must know, NPS puts an incredulous amount of pressure on students to excel academically. To a certain extent(as long as your child's stress levels seem to be at manageable levels), this is alright. I was a good student - very involved in academics, music, sports as well as art. However, they insulted me every single day and I was never good enough for my teachers as I wasn't able to shut up and take all the abuse that was thrown my way.

NPS's strategy is to turn their students into similar-looking & behaving robots, without minds of their own, that do not voice their opinions. They used my talkativeness as an excuse to pin any negative thing that happened in my grade or the one below on me - from graffiti in the bathrooms to mass bunking of class. The staff is horrible. They insult children every day as if intending to break their spirits, saying things like their parents should disown them as they will always be failures & so should give up on their dreams.

The news about physical and sexual assault in NPS is true. During my years in school, I have witnessed one PT teacher display pornography on his school computer to the entire school at morning assembly. This same teacher, as well as the other male teacher that replaced him, would openly flirt with the young female students and pull on their skirts when they were apparently'too short'(I have personally experienced this, they still did this when the skirts were knee-length). The staff also openly hits children often; I have seen my friend being picked up by the neck and flung to the sand and being hit multiple times by a teacher; when his parents arrived at the school to complain, the principal sent them away and no consequences followed. The teacher still works at NPSK today.

I realize that most parents might believe teachers over their children, but I urge you to listen to your children if they say that they are facing emotional/physical abuse. DO NOT take it lightly! The teachers refused to stop bullying me, even after I left NPS - they constantly badmouthed me and some other ex-students to the current ones.

Please realize that good grades aren't more important than a child's well-being, especially since student suicide rates are at an all-time high nowadays - moreover, other schools will provide the same(if not better) level of education, as many teachers were underqualified to teach their subject(they asked the students doubts and told them to self-study, and if asked doubts, they would scream at the children saying that they hadn't studied enough and refused to answer), and couldn't speak English well.

The principal is the most manipulative, cruel, heartless person in this world. Not just students, but many parents also have faced abuse from her & the staff, who have made my friends' parents cry by insulting their parenting skills on multiple occasions. Most students in NPSK were depressed and under high stress, and were unable to voice their problems to either the teachers(of course) or their parents. I was depressed as well, but once I left, I became the best version of myself - I got great grades, achieved many accolades for music, art, and sports, and got into the #1 university in the world abroad for my Bachelor's course.

Please invest your hard-earned money elsewhere. This school is a waste of money, time and mental strength. They will only curb your child's potential & break their spirit, and I will never understand why. They humiliated me and my friends in front of all the students and staff on multiple occasions, and many of my friends were suicidal as a result. There are better ways to encourage a student to do well academically and in other aspects than torturing them, calling them horrible names and abusing them. Please DO NOT enroll your child in this school. There are much better options.

Nps rajajinagar _ snobbish institution
Mar 13, 2020 09:25 AM32047 Views (via Mobile)

Nps takes advantage of the fact that they are academically good school which is correct but wrt everything else they are worst you can imagine. Their administration staff is rude, and entire office staff act like they are doing us a huge favor in even talking to us. They have pretentious PTA where with their fake smiles provide academic feedback on children with snobbish references to how their std is very high. For 2020 academic year they are collecting book fees and have asked for strictly cash of about 6000. They make a lot of black money or support vendors who do so. There is no all round dev of children only academics. Not even moral values are taught. The security there are trained to be very rude to parents. Old grandparent or pregnant mothers who come to pick children are not even given a seat to sit outside instead are rudely asked not to crowd the gate. For adolescents this is a school of nightmare where they are constantly pressured on marks and low scoreres are treated bad. We flock this school bcoz we believe that academics is everything. If values have to be taken into account we would stay away from this school. Also unfortunately other schools in Bangalore are worse off and nps cashes on this with huge fees and we can do anything we want kind of attitude

SEXUAL ASSAULT AT NPS KORAMANGLA
Sep 08, 2019 10:54 AM42571 Views

I honestly don't want to give any rating, anything more than a zero would be a big fat lie. I went to NPS Koramangala for grades 8 and 9 and it was the worst experience. we're all well aware of the shortcomings of the the Indian school system. NPS, in my experience brought out the worst of it all. Though famous for a high academic performances of the students, the school has failed to understand students on an emotional or a social level. Like most schools in India, NPS is only bothered about the students' academic performance. Having studied in many schools in different countries, even graduating high school doing the IB Program which is the most difficult high school level programme, I always look back at my days back in NPS with dread. It was a school where as a teenager I was bullied not only by students but also by teachers even to the point of sexual assault. In this day and age student mental health has become a much bigger talk as opposed to when I was a school student. NPS really needs to have improved student faculty relations before you guys enrol your children to this school.

No Transparency in Admission Process
Jan 11, 2019 02:26 PM49440 Views

We had applied for Pre Nursery in the NPS school and they told us they will be informing us with in a month or so. We tried to contact the office after some time, they bluntly told us to wait till we get a call. Now they are saying that shortlisted candidates are done with the selection procedure and admission for Pre - Nursery for 2019 -20 is completed. They didn't even call us for an interaction. Such is the height of their transparency in the admission procedure. Added to that the staff also told us we can look out for another school to admit our candidate. The school administrative staff is very bad and will misguide the parents every time we try to contact them. Just bringing in good percentage in the board exams alone is not important. We had applied to other schools as well all other schools gave us an opportunity for interaction but this school did nothing, just gave a blunt reply to our calls.

I would suggest parents never to apply for NPS. It seems success has got over their head.

Bangalore India
Are we living in a barbaric age
Dec 15, 2018 12:24 AM45671 Views

There is no transparency in the admission process in National Public School, Koramangala. We have a 2 years 3 months old kid and we wanted to enroll him in Montessori in NPS, We were not allowed to even go inside the school/ talk to teachers/ see the infrastructure where our child will study. We still applied for our child's admission and to our disappointment, our child was not selected for admission. Now the strange part comes into the picture i.e. 1. There was no test for admission, we had submitted an application form 2. No reason was specified for non-selection.

What irks us is why can't there be transparency in selection? There is a reason for everything in the world, why can't we be informed of the reason for non-selection? While the rights of alumni, government servants, staff members, minorities are well protected, why are the vast majority of common people not belonging to these quotas denied even reason for non-selection? We were cribbing about reservations in jobs, it starts at Montessori stage in NPS. Education contributes to nation building while you are contributing to division of society on the basis of quatas. This is in violation of right to equality and I demand explanation from the institution.

Don't even deserve a single star . one of the worst school in south Bangalore.

1) They have Montessori methodology, but they do not know what Montessori way of teaching.

2) They are comparing Mon-1 kids and complaining to parents saying your kids is not able to do this & that but other kids are doing. How can they compare 3-years old child capabilities?

3) Transport facility is really bad, no timing, no camera, no GPS no safety kids

4) Teachers and staffs are very very arrogant. Please visit their front office .you will come to know

DREAM OF THE SCHOOL- NATIONAL PUBLIC SCHOOL
Apr 27, 2018 04:02 PM54057 Views

I think this is a wonderful school.I am an ex-student, part of the first 12th grade batch that graduated this year in 2016.The principal is one of the best principals you can have she works hard to make sure the students get the best of everything.she has over 40 years of experience at KVS. A part from that, the teachers are amazing. The teachers who teach 11th 12th are really caring and they make sure you understand all the concepts really well. They have a list of facilities inctunding a huge mulit purpose ground, an football field, basketball court, cricket net, an auditorium and other indoor games rooms.

The extra-curricular activities are plenty and can help a student develop skills in all aspects.one of the best school for an all round development.

Wonderful environment for learning and developing other skills as well. in there years this school has grown a lot.

I would recommend this school for all classes as the principal and staff will make sure the child comes out with flying colours.

NPS, Gottigere. Very happy :)
May 27, 2017 11:17 AM55545 Views

My son studies in NPS Gottigere & I am very happy with the progress. He is so keen to go to school & everyday he comes bubbling with things that he did in school. The teachers in the Montessori & KG classes are very nurturing & look after the children really well. I have met the Principal a couple of times & find her to be very dynamic. I see a marked development in my son and the schools atmosphere has definitely made him more self-confident and curious about everything around him.
