This is one of the best place in India. I personally love this place a lot. I literally say that this place is a lovely and remarkable area. For me this place is full of love. thoroughly enjoyed a lot when I went for a trip there. This place has many tourist spots to visit and in it one of the best is Eravikulam National Park.

Munnar is a place where one can find loads of natural beauty. Everywhere you see , you will find greenery. The tea bagans are the major attractions of Munnar which enhances the greenery. Anamudi is a great attraction for hiking. Pothamedu view point is a point where you can collect many beautiful natural scene in your eyes. Eravikulam National Park is also a good attraction of Munnar. Attukad water falls also attract the visitors. You can enjoy lots of adventures

The munnar is a best place for the tourist attraction. From aluva or cochin it is located arround 125 kilometers. Railwaystation and airport is also located in aluva and cochin for the tourist. The advengers were also too good and the waterfalls present there were also superb . The most of the tea estates are of tata tea in munnar

The best time to visit Munnar is from Sep to Feb. For bike riders from the north part of kerala can choose Palakkad -Pollachi- chinnar route which will be connecting munnar through chinnar forest and for returning can choose muvvatupuzha Aluva route also. Try to avoid visiting in rainy season and choose October to January for visiting

I live in the same district idukki where Munnar is located. From my home a 2 hour journey can take me to it . last week I paid a visit around and it was a lovely trip.
Dec-feb is the best time to visit munnar, now its heavy cold like the temp went -2 to -4C. There is snowfall also .

Munnar is the best known place for Neelakurinhi blooms which flower only once in 12 years. So guys this year also Many tourists were there to enjoy this wonderful time in life. But the main issue the time we visited was, due to flood which happened recently in kerala visitors were controlled. Now I hope everything is alright there.
The entire hill station was covered by its blue color flower and I never forget this moment in life. I suggest that the best time to visit Munnar is November to February as it will be cold climate and suggests mainly those who go for honey moon. It will be better if you carry woolen cloths as the evenings will be very cold.
We all know Munnar was completely destroyed by the flood in Kerala on 2K18 August I visited Monnar yesterday on September second now Munnar is getting recovered from all the issues caused by the flood. the latest news from Munnar is that neelakurinji flower have blossomed again in The Hills of Munnar it was seen on the rajamala Hills of Munnar located in the heart of Munnar . it is been expected that these neelakurinji flowers will come in a very high abundance and in high volume in rajamala on coming weeks

We visited Kerala in 2015. So Munnar, Allepy & Thekkadey was in our itinerary and Munnar was the our first stop after landing in Kochi. It takes around 1 to 2 hrs depends on the traffic to reach Munnar from kochi airport.
The magic starts itself when you enter in munnar. All lush green tree plantations on the hills, There are many things to see in Munnar like Eravikulam National Park, Kundala Lake when you ll enjoy paddle boating, Rose garden.
Also there will be few photo points where you can take your pictures in the tea plantation plucking tea leaves and wearing their local costumes and carrying basket, That is all fun.
You can see different peaks there also they have adventure & amusement parks. Also there many ayurvedic massage centers.
Food is all depend on the hotel your staying. Ask your driver and they will tell you everything best there. Overall nice place to visit and stay at least 3 days and roam around. Its a wonderland.
This is one of the finest hill stations we can find in India.And coming to places it has got very good sightseeing areas of which Eravikulam National park, Mattupetty dam, Echo point are famous which attracts all the tourists and visitors.Overall it is a very good holiday spot.But people with inhaling problems beware of it.

I am going to write about Munnar that is one of the famous hill station of Kerala. I have visited here three times and I received plenty of experiences from here.
Accessibility - This place is easily accessible from Kochi through flight, train and bus.
Local Sightseeing - This is very attractive tourist place where we can get new and unique experiences. I am getting tendency to come here again and again because it is giving nice experiences always. Major attractions are Rose Garden, Mattupetti Dam, Water Falls and Kundala Lakes. I love rose garden which is having variety plants and nice place to take photos. Horse riding and trekking also available here. Most of the newly wedding couples are selecting this place to enjoy their special days.
Hotels and accommodations: A lot of hotels are there for food and accommodation with different budget. I think home stay is better.
Safety; This is completely safe place so no need to worry about anything. Just come here and enjoy well. It can definitely provide you great unforgettable experiences and memories.

You will really feel like even the heaven might not be this beautiful. U will get stunned on getting to know that this place is in India. So, ok you have planned nd decided to visit munnar where to stay I suggest black forest resort ( do read my review on black forest resort) it is near to matupetty dam it quite far from munnar. Basically munnar is city's name there is nothing to do with the city but it is the way to the city that is attractive.sondo visit munnar definitely without hesitation you can confirm your visit to it.Happy holiday enjoy your trip.!
