If you are not an Accountant with Patience; forget it, don't use them.

I opened a demat account with kotak securities with apprehension that came true within a day.. The fund transfer is not real-time and may result in potential loss if one plans to do quick trade.. Further their service team including people sitting at top are super slow so you can rely on missing opportunities market may present to earn.. Brokerage rates is not what is communicated.. If you have patience and ready to waste your time and money, then kotak securities is perfect platform... They don't deserve even 1 rating...

Very old system and unnecessary charges, minimum balance required.

better go for discount broker like zerodha upstock etc.

I had Kotak securities account since 10 yrs but I never used since last 8 yrs and they have charged me heavy amount of rent of demat account. So I paid that amount and sent closure form but they have rejected it saying that I have to transfer my holdings or sell it. But the interesting thing is that share is already decommissioned and not active in share market. But still Kotak has rejected my closure form bcoz of I hv that dead share in my account. Now I can't sell it or if I transfer it, they are asking me heavy charge for it ??. This is really a harrassment and stupid things which Kotak is following. So friends please do not go for Kotak Bank or demat account.

I am having Demat accountwith kotak security.but the employee of kolhapur office, they are giving very bad treatment to the customer.Towards senior citizen they dont have any manner s.

I have visited today to kolhapur office. They ask me to talk from corridor window.refuses to open the door. Because of corona.

agreed.

But they are most irresponsible and rude while talking.

among of them Mr Anil Hule and one another hepty employee was looking towards visitors.

accomponing with security.

talking about money from Windows was much much embarrassing so i asked them to open the door.

they told me that company has asked them to do so.and its not binding on them to keep office open.

Without concent they were charging 900 Rs per lot brokage insted of 20Rs . They are Thieves

Worst service I have experienced I called to customer service center waiting every time minimum 30minutes every time I called they have not even lifted single time I have called more than 6timed

Kotak securities is the worst brokerage services you can sign up with please do not think of doing so and you will regret it

I have signed up with iifl, reliance and upstox and accidentally happened to sign up

You will be stuck with very high charges and very poor customer service providing standard template response and take their own time not worried about any other escalation and you will never be able to get any solution and will get fed up and stop writing and frustrated.

For God sake don't ever signnup and will have life long regret

I had a trading account with Kotak Securities. As I had changed my registered mobile number, and also changed my residence, i was unable to trade. The call center executives told me to approach the nearest branch which is around 100 kms from my residence, with original PAN Card etc. As I was unable to do so for a long period of time they levied various charges and then sent me a settlement cheque of Rs.700 to my old residence where I dont live and which I had already informed Kotak. Nothing is online and for changing any of our records we have to go their office which are very few in number. So I lost Rs.7000 for vague reasons. Dont open an account with this trading firm. Nowadays, there are various apps like UPSTOX where we can open account easily online and trade from the next day, and where there is no need to go to some office for small reasons. Kotak securities is just like a Nationalised bank and email to even the CEO is unresponsive. I had an harrowing experience.

Kotak Securities tops the list of worst trading platform of all.

They introduced something called FIT(free intraday trading) plan. You pay annual premium of 1200 rupees and can do unlimited Intraday trading under equity, F&O with zero brokerage charges. Sounds amazing right? That's what I felt initially. After 2 weeks of trading, opened my ledger only to see around 9000 additional charges were charged. Charges were charged in the name of OTHER CHARGES.

Called up customer care and the relationship manager. One of them say that's valid charge which ONLY kotak charges. Other person say it shouldn't have happened.

So, final conclusion is - FIT plan is free of brokerage but not free of other HIDDEN CHARGES.

I bet you won't have any knowledge what's so ever until its charged because THEY WON'T TELL YOU A DAMM THING ABOUT THIS.

STAY SAFE, MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING WITH PEOPLE AND KOTAK SECURITIES.

Kotak securities is the worst mode for Dmat and trading. Unnecessary of charges is been applied. The customer service is also not aware about there own products. Mis selling of the products to the customer. Mobile application is very slow in terms of data reflection into application.

They keep on charging unecessary charges, even their staff is lack of knowlegde, they show incorrect and misleading data in that app, , app is also pathetic and once u place order it takes lot of time n most of the times it does not take the order for buying and selling.. u will become helpless and will cry as you will loose lots of money. they customer service is so worst and they are robots as if they dobt understand anything.. you will regret for the lifetime.. do not use kotak securities at all.. zero rating for kotak securities

I got loss often in trading due to server problem. we can't sell and buy in exact time. In rush hours app not working. Its take too long time to open.
