Hotel Monsoon, G.S. Road, Shillong

Today I am sharing my travel experience with you. in summer vacations, june 2015. me and my family we all 9 members planed to go shillong for a family trip. we reached shillong of a journey of 2 days by train. after reaching there, we are so tired.

So we all need to take some rest. so we decided to book an hotel in shillong. so I used my smartphone and book hotel monsoon tghrough makemytrip.com. this hotel was located in g.b. road shillong. its only 2 kms away from jahawar lal nehru stadium in shillong. hotel rooms price is only 1715 rs per room. we booked 2 rooms there. we were 4 males and 5 female persons. after reaching hotel, we confirmed our booking in recepction and takes room keys. hotel staff boys takes our lauggage and take us in our rooms. after reaching rooms, when we tried to turn on the fan, it doesn't on properly. so we contacted hotel staff but they dont't give any satisfied answer. after taking some rest in evening we went to hotel's canteen for food food quality was not so good. and there all hotel services was not so good as a classical hotel. so we don't like this hotel and cancelled our booking for next day and takes another hotel.

We had lodged in hotel monsoon in Shillong. It was a beautiful hotel .First of all the hotels room are good enough to give you ample scope of viewing rainfall in monsoon.

The room was big with big windows and the interior of the room was beautiful .we got full security and got TV, intercom, WiFi connection and above all the wash room was good with satisfactory sanitatio.

It has a restaurant and food quality was good.We got call every morning if we required any more thing or not .Staff and receptionists helped us chalk out our plans .At night we were given good blanket and quilt.We enjoyed warm hospitality  .It is moderately expensive hotel but what we got was imperatively good .I recommend this hotel .
