C.M.R. Institute of Technology (CMRIT), Bangalore

My friend was studying in the college. The location of the college makes it relevant. The college management is good and helpful . The teachers and professors are highly qualified and they are not strick when it comes to marks. My friend is now a software engineer at Bangalore but ain't went by campus placements.

I have completed my graduation in this C.M.R. institute of technology. Which is one of the best engineering colleges.

Management main aim is to maintain deciplain in campus. Antiragging teams were maintained by them.

They give placement training to 3rd and 4th year students on aptitude, verbal and logical reasoning. Which helps when placements takes place in our college.

Placement team makes big effort to get MNC companies to college.

Infrastructure of the college will be good compared to other colleges. Computer Labs, all kind of equipments for mechanical, civil present in this college.

They encourage sports in this college we have won so many prizes in cricket, football, vollyball.

This college is a great place to complete graduation.

This review is based on my own experience of studying at CMR IT college.

1- Which college in the world starts at 8 AM?- It does.

2- Doors are closed even if you are 5 minutes late.

3- Horrible teachers. They have ZERO knowledge and BIG egos.

4- Very little placement.

5- Strict dress code.

6- Strict attendance. You are fined heavily for short attendance.

7- Stupid monitoring of the students in college.

8- They treat students like slaves.

9- Classes start at 8 AM and go on till 4 PM.

10- Teachers shout at students for small things.

11- If you are looking to study in a college then avoid it any cost because it is not a college - it is an extension of school. It is just like school not more than that.

12- Partiality in giving internal marks, you need to do a lot of buttering.

13- Decision to study in this college was my life's biggest mistake.

14- It will make life miserable, you can't study - you can't enjoy.

15- Heavy assignment loads - you won't have any time for yourself.

So, the moral of the story is - DO NOT ever even think to join this college.

I HAVE BEEN TO THE CAMPUS FOR MY GD AND PI SESSIONS AND ACCORDINGLY I FOUND THAT THE COLLEGE TO BE GOOD IN TERMS OF ACADEMICS, I WAS BEING INFORMED BY THE HOD OF THE MANAGEMENT STUDIES THAT THE COURSE CURRICULUM AT VTU IS MUCH TOUGHER AS COMPARED TO THE BANGALORE UNIVERSITY AN SO ON ==THE RECRUITERS GIVES MUCH PREFERENCES TO THE VTU STUDENTS RATHER BANGALORE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS AS VTU IS BASICALLY A TECHNICAL BASED UNIVERSITY, THE COLLEGE ALSO HAVE A EXCELLENT PLACEMENT FOR FINANCE AND HR, ==

I FOUND THE CAMPUS TO BE A BIT IMPRESSIVE , SO I WOULD SHARE FEW OF MY VIEWS OF THE COLLEGE:

1.THE COLLEGE HAS GOOD CAMPUS INFRASTRUCTURE.

1. ITS AFFILIATION TO VTU MAKES ITS DEGREE STRONGER.

3.THE COURSE CURRICULAM FOR THE FIRST TWO SEMISTER IS ALMOST SIMILAR TO THE COURSES OFFERED FOR BBA/BBM.

4.THE COLLEGE HAVE A REFRESHING CAFATERIA AS WEEL AS CCD(CAFE COFFEE DAY)CENTRALLY LOCATED.

5.ON CAMPUS HOSTEL FACILITY IS PROVIDED AT A AFFORDABLE PRICE FOR JUST RS 64, 500 YEARLY INCLUDING FOODING AND LODGEING SEPERATE FOR BOYS AND GIRLS.

6.THE LIABRARY REMAINS OPEN TILL 10 PM.

7.WI -FI ENABLED CAMPUS WITH A SPEED OF 2MBPS.

8.A BIT STRICT THEN THE OTHER CMR GROUP OF INSTITUTIONS MAKING IT FIT FOR THE CORPORATE WORLD.

9.SPECIALIZATION CAN BE CHOOSEN IN THE SECOND YEAR OFFERING TIME FOR THE APPLICANT WHICH SPECIALIZATION WILL SUTE HIM/HER.

10.TRANSPORTATION FACILITES ARE ALSO OFFERED FROM THE CAMPUS.

11.THE COLLEGE IS AFFILIATED TO AICTE MAKING BANK LOAN EASIER.

THUS I FOUND THIS FACILITIES TO BE THE BEST AMONG THE OTHER INSTITUE, I WILL ALSO SHARE SOME NEGATIVITY OF THE COLLEGE:

1.WATER SUPPLY AT THE CAMPUS HOSTEL IS REALLY YAK!

2.THE ENTRY TIME AT THE HOSTEL HAS BEEN FIXED TILL 8PM

3.THE ROOMS OF THE HOSTEL CAMPUS ARE BIT CONJUSTED.

THIS ARE ONLY THE NEGATIVITY I FOUND OUT WHILE VISITING THE THE CAMPUS WHICH ARE JUST NEGLIGIABLE IN CASE OF NOURISHING THE FUTURE OF YOURS AND THIS ALL CAN BE DONE FOR JUST PAYING THE COLLEGE FREE FOR 5 LAKHS APPROX.

I’ve never felt betrayed or ripped off by any other institute as I have with CMIT.

On my first visit to them, they were very polite and answered all my questions, to the point where I felt they knew the subjects they were teaching at the institute. The counselor sat with me and explained the procedure as to how the classes are run and what the students were supposed to do when attending classes. She made a point (I should have smelt a rat there and then!) that I should bring the full course fees on my first day of attendance.

A couple of days after starting the course I realised I had been ripped off!, the guy teaching the course didn’t really know much about the course content and was literally making up the syllabus as we progressed through the course.

I had to complete the course on my own, reading the materials and trying out the examples - all on my own without any help from them!

Thank you, CMRIT for the constant encouragement and opportunities. I got an internship opportunity with Amazon. I am currently pursuing computer science engineering third year.

The smart India Hackathon event organised by the college was useful. We saw a lot of innovations by students in different fields starting from road safety to security system.

CMRIT, Bangalore is one of the best colleges, and I can vouch for the same from my personal experience. Both my niece and son studied at the college. They had good placement opportunities and well-maintained infrastructure. The faculty team was warm and helpful.

I am 2004 passed out. Many thanks to the HOD and faculty of the TCE department. They pushed me to bring out the best in me. I had a pleasant experience studying in CMRIT.

I am a 2020 graduate placed in amazon. Their placement portfolio has some big names like RazorPay, Amazon and Dell. The placement cell helps the students to prepare for the final year interview.

I am a basketball player. It helped me get a sports scholarship from CMRIT for my academics. Happy to be a part of the college.
