Jun 23, 2017 09:52 PM 2124 Views (via Android App)

Hello ladies and gentlemen! Today I gonna share with you my personal experience for using Bharati cellular mobile operators. I am used it approximately 2-3 months but my experience for using it was really bad because of its service. The prices of the packages of this operator was reasonable and affordable for all peoples but, the speed of the Internet of this operator was very slow in our local area, so many time it caused connection problem, as well as the customer care service of these operator was really bad and embarrassing, they cannot work properly. The charges and billing of this operator was reasonable but, the other features of the operator was very bad. Therefore, according to my experience I am personally advise you to don't waiste your money for this type of useless and cheapest mobile operator for buying & useing it.

Thank You,

From Last five month I regularly used bharti cellular mobile services. Its good network facility in my area. Its service plan is too good I am big fan of triple ace plan ( rupee 333) in which I get three gb data for ninety days. Local call also at good price bsnl to bsnl free. Good plan. Customer services is also good even I have not faced any problem.

Harrasement and cheating by airtel
Jul 15, 2014 08:26 PM 5971 Views

I had an airtel postpaid connection long time back by the no 993XXXXX78 which was disconnected long ago and all dues were cleared. Now, I have received an email from them demanding some Rs. 6000 as dues or else they will initiate criminal proceeding against.

This had happened earlier also when I had disconnected another number. I had received a call from a fake person posing as some thana incharge from Delhi asking me to deposit Rs.9000 against outstanding else criminal charges would be initiated against me in Tees Hazari Court.

That time I got scared and I paid but it seems it is a regular feature of Airtel . I am not going to make any payment now as I have learned that there are many others who have been similarly cheated. This time I want to teach them a lesson.

Turn to Airtel to be cheated. Zero commitment.

Airtel charging us on a number not owned or used by me:

  • In November 2012, I relocated to Bangalore and had asked Airtel for 2 connections, 1 for a regular connection and 1 for an iphone (micro-SIM). I was allotted both numbers, however the number for the iphone & 3G services for A (fraud number in question) was not working.

  • Since the original micro-SIM was provided by the agent, when I escalated the matter on calling 121, I was told to get the micro-SIM card changed at the nearest Airtel outlet. I accordingly did so, handing back the old micro-SIM and was given a new micro-SIM for the number B, which I continue to use for my iphone. I was told the number A was cancelled after the micro-SIM was returned.

  • I subsequently obtained another number (C, normal SIM) from Airtel for a family member which is in use.

  • Today I have come to know that Airtel has been charging me for the number A which I have never used, which never worked, and which I had replaced with the number B. I am told by Airtel than an amount of INR 2771 is pending since November 2012.

  • On account of this, Airtel has also barred outgoing calls and SMS on the other number C.

  • I would like to point out out that till date, I have not received a single bill (e-bill or physical) for the number A for which Airtel today claims INR 2771 is due. On March 29th 2013 for the first time I received a message from Airtel on this subject at all. More importantly, I have never used this number and fail to understand how I can be charged.

  • Let me reiterate - the micro-SIM for the number A was not working when it was given to me and was returned to the Airtel dealership for a new micro-SIM.

The number C was once again deactivated without information yesterday and we have been crying hoarse ever since asking Airtel to show us 'evidence' of even a single mail they would have sent us regarding the non payment of dues on the fraud number. And they have been claiming to send us electronic bills via emails on an address that doesn't even exist! All this when they claim to have all our documents to prove that this number was really ours! They have been asking us for executive details etc which we never kept track of since there were some 10 different people who came to hand over and take back the non functional SIM cards, in November 2012.

Since March 29th, we have been following up with Airtel and all our explanations, emails and calls have fallen on deaf ears. Promises of 'senior appellate officers calling back in 2 hours' and 'investigations are in progress' have all been futile as they have begun harassing us again for the payment of dues on a number we have never used. As I had mentioned earlier, I recognize that this could be a case of either a gross operational error or a case of serious fraud. In either case, the

customer should not have to bear the cost.

Airtel nodal officers and the appellate office has been in touch with us but to no avail. We have had numerous exchanges with them in the past one week without a single resolution in sight. The appellate office spoke to us assuring us of a resolution to the issue by April 26, 2012. As of today, April 28, 2012, we are yet to hear from them. So much for commitments made by a brand that supposedly prides itself in its 'superior' customer service.

I using Airtel fro last 5 years .. In those last 5 years I have made several complaints about Service and Reception ... nothing has improved.

Finally I changed my plan and converted from postpaid to prepaid. I submitted all documents and charges at FC ROAD BRANCH, PUNE.

Now I am waiting from last several weeks for it to get activated... still no sign. The numbers provided by Outlet members are not in service.

I strictly recommend NOT to go for Airtel.

Now I cannot dial 121 or 198 ....

There are other good service provider in India .. till now I am finding iDEA good. Good reception and coverage

SMS charges exessively charged
Nov 24, 2010 11:42 AM 4080 Views

Airtel services are deteriorating day by day. Each time when expectations are high, it lets us down. Festivals seasons are the timings when we use our mobile to the maximum, but this is the tactics airtel has adopted to mint money. This diwali, it was informed that all sms will be charged at 0.50 ps but I was charged Re.1. But when enquired, I get different explanation for all the charges.

In this competitive market, if Airtel is continuing to bill this way, I don't think there will be any customers who will continue with Airtel. With MNP across, this is not the way they are supposed to bill.

This festival was really annoying because of excess billing in sms.

May be somebody from Bharti login or not but information is good for other users.. isnt it..

Service of bharti was very good and now becoming worst.... I switched to different operator already... n I m very happy now as I m getting a lot of services with low price top ups....

N one can talk with cc team in single call.. its challenge. In case call is connected.. they put ur call on hold 4 long long time... SBMittal should try the services at least once... Nobody from Bharti will let him know..

At present technical offices have been shifted to Manesar Village nearby Gurgaon, at present only Bharti building is there means no employee satisfaction....

How can one expect the good service.. it became the past tense now and will be....

RUDE BEHAVIOUR IN AIRTEL GALLERY IN LOKHANDWALA
Dec 30, 2009 10:44 PM 3659 Views

I am really surprised n amazed with the kind of rude n disintrest the Customer Service in AIRTEL GALLERY IN LOKHANDWALA COMPLEX when I went on 30 of dec 2009 to get not 1 not 2 but 3 prepaid sim connections from them.As soon we entered the gallery  1 could feel the disintrest n rude behaviour of the people no 1 wanted to take down my request they were passing my request for prepaid connection among themselves telling each other to attend me.

I was really exasperated by this attitude, secondly the  Customer Service person asked me about paying the money when he had not even uttered any 1 word about the simcard, i asked about the charges plans to b espalined to me as am not well versed with prepaid as I have  apost paid connection, he seemed not give any info I had take out this info from him, about rates n stuff when asked about  choice of numbers he just had 4prepaid cards for us to choose the nos from how pathethic are they???

Imagine a AIRTEL GALLERY in the posh residence area has only 4 prepaid to show its client who wanted 3sim connections n to top of it rudeness n disintrest I had to bear gosh  you pay for a service n still get 2 bear the brunt of rude people, if any of airtel big guys are reading take note of this your Customer Service sucks BIGTIME YOU HAVE LOST A GOOD CLIENT FOR EVER! branch visited

I am using Airtel as my mobile connection since 2007.I am proud to say that I will be with Airtel as long as I use the mobile. Network coverage problem is the only issue I suffer from Airtel. Airtel implemented their customer care systems very user friendly and in a faster way. if a customer demands an option for talk with a customer care executive  from airtel, they avail the sevice within few seconds.

One of the great thing that Airtel introduces their advertisments in a heart touching manner. The Airtel theme music is the most popular tone.if airtel solve their network issues , they can grow three times faster.

Bharti Recruited Aliens in Customer Care
Aug 07, 2009 03:45 PM 3437 Views

I don’t know how these Indian cellular companies work but one thing that I am pretty sure is Airtel is providing worst support services to its customers. I am wondering with their irresponsiveness and pretentiousness of their support executives.

I am using Airtel prepaid and came to know about a scheme where I had to pay 90 rs to get my calls reduced as STD 1 re/min. Local 60 paisa/min, and local sms 10 paisa/sms. On that black day, I had recharged my cell-phone by two recharges of Rs 444 and one of 90 rs. I asked the guy how much time it takes to get the call rates reduced after recharging, and he said it works immediately.

I came back home and started making calls. After three days I found that my balance is low drastically, while I didn’t make much calls. I checked and found that my call rates were the same 2 Rs/min STD and 1 Re/min Local even after making the recharge of 90 Rs. I immediately gave a call the customer care of Airtel and explained the issue. Here is the excerpt:

CC Exec- Sir, when had you made these recharges?

Me- three days back

CC Exec- No No Could you please tell me the exact date when these recharges have been made.

Me- 21 June. But you must be having a system where you can check if any recharge has been happened.

CC Exec- Yes sir, we can but I was just validating you.

Me- Sounds Good! Would I be able to get my money back?

CC Exec-Sure Sir, Please note down the complain no. One of our exec will revert within 48 hours and inform you how your money would get reimbursed.

Even after 72 hours nobody turned up. I called again and yelled the same story. This time I shared the complaint number and he said the same thing again that I will be receiving a call in next 48 hours. Again nobody turned up, but the only value-add was my call rates were reduced after 5 days.

Still, I never gave up and waited for another 48 hrs and when I didn’t receive any call I made the call again, and explained the same issue to one of their executives. I got the same reply this time for the reimbursement.

Now, I gave up. I am not left with enough energy to talk with these extra ordinary customer care executives. But, I would like to make a very small request to Airtel officials that please change the punch line Express Yourself to Don’t Express Yourself.

Give me back my thirty rupees Mr. Sunil Mittal
Aug 07, 2009 12:26 PM 2998 Views

I checked out on the net and Wikipedia says that you are worth 7.7 billion US dollars. Then why are you after my thirty rupees, Mr. Mittal? And this is not the first time its happening and I'm not the first person to whom its happened. Your guys have sent me a message:

"Airtel Radio has been renewed and you have been charged Rs.30. Now get grooving with music from movies Kambhakt Ishq and New York on 54321353."

I promise you Mr. Mittal, I have never subscribed to this service. Also I never groove to music.

But tell me Mr. Mittal, why would you do such a thing for just Rs.30? I'm sure The Economist is not going to write: "Over the weekend Mr. Mittal's networth shot up from 7.7 billion US dollars to an amazing 7.7.billion dollars and thirty rupees." And a lesser newspaper might even add "...most of which has been ripped off from helpless Airtel subscribers."

What difference would it make Mr. Mittal, if your net worth goes up by thirty rupees or remains at 7.7.billion dollars? Not much.

So please give me back my thirty rupees Mr. Mittal. I'm sure you wont mind parting with thirty measly rupees. Neither will your family, friends, relatives or board of directors. So please dont think too much about it. You can easily earn thirty rupees by other means. If you are really hard up, you could even borrow it from Mukesh Ambani or Lakshmi Mittal.Give me back my MUNNEY!!!

Airtel Special 5 Ad.... Something New from Airtel
Jul 24, 2009 12:48 PM 3338 Views

Airtel has introduced new scheme named : Airtel Special 5 where you can select 5 numbers of close ones and talk to them at 20 p / min.

This time there ad with a little girl called Anna is very sweet and captivating... Airtel after a long time has come up with a good ad... Although Vodafone has been quite creative in captivating customers attention....

What are your views on the advertisement? Do you like the boat ad or the detention ad better ? Off late Idea has also come out with some very good ads starring Abhishek Bachhan..especially the recent one “Walk when you talk”

I think Airtel should also get some big celebrity in its ads with the kind of profits they are making…Like they had shahrukh khan previously.. Like TATA has Hritik Roshan in its ads.Hey Airtel People are you listening???.

Bharti Loots or its Customer Service ppl LOOT
Jul 07, 2009 01:51 PM 2724 Views

I was a happy post paid Airtel customer till Oct 2005, until this incident happened.

In october 2005, I had to leave for a overseas stay of 6 months. As number cannot be kept in reserve for more than 2 months, paid my dues, called Customer Service and told them to deactivate. They asked me to handover a written letter regarding the same. Since I couldn't find time, I left.

On my return in April 2006, I was pleasantly surprised to get an SMS welcoming me back on my mobile. I checked with Airtel customer service about my mobile number being active and checked whether I got any additional dues. I was assured that there will not be additional billing on my account and I will be charged from April 2006 only.

At the end of the month, my bill carried charges for the 6 months(Rs 200* 6= Rs.1200) I did not use. I explained them the clarifications that I had received etc. It was no use, the issue was escalated to their managers and they said nothing can be done as these are computer system driven calculations. Ironical part is, a mobile number as per their terms is going to be deactivated if not paid for 2 months. In my case, my max liability must be Rs 400. But who cares, NOBODY CARES from their end. They simply keep repeating system does not allow any changes.

After a while this issue had moved to their legal & recovery team and they were after me. I was disgusted, I shelled out that Rs 1200 and immediately switched mobile provider.

I would not be recommending Airtel to anyone. Now I am a happy PRE-paid customer with another mobile provider.
